How does the game fit the theme?
You are taken by an evil rat doctor for maze testing, so you shouldn't have trusted him. And in the gameplay, you have to collect cheese, but some cheese are bad since they're moldy, so don't trust all the cheese you see.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Sound effects are taken from free sound effects websites or created by us, and the music is free to use, credits in the game and game page.

Ya kindaa agree with you looking in retrospect at our game and the theme. We interpreted "trust no one" as like "dont trust all the cheese in the game" for our game. Thanks for the feedback!!^^

very cool game!!! i especially enjoyed the theme, vfx, and the sfx!!! i keep on dying cuz its hard for me to find the difference between the bad and good cheese...

What a charming game!
First of all, I love the theme. A lab rat collects cheese in a maze and can't escape the lab at the end of a game, so the experiment continues... We made a game about exactly the same thing!

So, about the game itself! It's short, but it's a joy to play.
It seems even easier to play after picking up the spoiled cheese, because the controls become more manageable when rat is slow.
The goal of each level is clear, making it easy and fun to play!

Nice game! The movement feels smooth and I like the tail following effect
