How does the game fit the theme?
Trustworthy Endings fits the theme because you have to decide whether to trust your surroundings and interact with them.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The assets I used are the trees, rocks, sand, music, fonts, and SFX.

Its nice for your first 3d game, but theres definitely stuff to improve on. 1. The web build can have the crosshair offset and it doesnt have pointerlock. 2. looking back and forth makes the camera move in front and behind the player, looking really weird. 3. you should make models and textures for the characters. right now, your use the godot icon svg file painted brown as the texture 4. you should make it so the stick doesnt clip into the environment. its called like z clip override or smth in the material. 5. you should give the water a texture. right now, it just looks really flat, even though it is swaying. theres a lot of shader tuts on yt for this.  6. you should add menus 7. the game is still active when the ending screen pops up. you can still move and interact with stuff and die.

This is a good 3D game. I hope you keep developing it—the concept is great. Keep it up!

the beach at dusk and that moonrise look lovely, and the silent figure just standing there watching sets a mood straight away.

cool concept! got only 4/5 :D

Developer

I wonder why a lot of people never get the 5th ending GG😂

There were some technical issues with playing the game in browser, but since the area was so small it was quite alright. I would have liked an UI showing what endings I have encountered so far.

Came back and saw you added a WebGL version! Nice!!

The mouse sensitivity feels a bit too high though, and I got a little dizzy sometimes. Also, does the background music only play once? It might be better if it loops!

I really like the bright colors and visuals. Making a 3D game is never easy, keep going!!

the soundscape is very immersive and i like how there are multiple endings (i wish there were more! - but i get why there are only 5 due to time constraints)
