me and my friend have been trying to solve the last riddle (the caesar cipher one) for like an hour and still couldn't figure it out :< At this point I'm just curious what could it possibly be, could you give us a hint?
as for the game itself, the setting is kiiinda cliche, but visuals and prose are executed well, there were a few very well written expressions, and overall the aristocratic tone and vocabulary is well-portrayed. What made us much less immersed though, is just how unlikeable the majority of the cast is. I understand that they're all rich entitled people and whatever, but it's just so blunt to the point of comedy - every time they're given the slightest chance of becoming not 100% negative characters with no depth, they are denied it, and *even the narrator themself* comments on how abhorrent they are! It feels as if the writer intended the characters to be purely comically evil punching bags and enjoys ridiculing them, which IMO makes the writing considerably less interesting. Thankfully, there's also a saving grace - Grace, who I found to be a fairly intriguing character, though we personally couldn't experience the conclusion of the story just yet
Though even considering this criticism, the work is obviously incredibly commendable, especially for a 7-day project! Hopefully our criticism didn't come off too strong, it's just that when the style of the prose (and art!!!) is quite good, these aspects are more noticeable by contrast
