How does the game fit the theme?
you have to fight through an arena with an "ally" that may kill you
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

It was a bit unclear to me on what conditions the +1, -3 were given out. When the little guy charges and I kill, then I got -3, but what was big guys -3? I know that affected something, because when I "solod" everything fast, they were furious.
2d/3d mix was visually cool choice and overall the game worked. Good job!
Thank you for the feedback!
It is unfortunately not explained well, sharpshooter likes it if you make an enemy charge into a wall before killing them. Thats the only way to get bonuses. he hates it when enemies are close and doesnt like when enemies are killed before being stunned. He also does a bonus shot against anyone who is stunned. You can also get some opinion improvement of
We wanted to add a similar system for the other enemy type, but didnt get implemented.
nice mix of 2D and 3D with a clean look. the combat feels fun and snappy and the art carries a lot of charm. the dialogue breaks up the action nicely and the whole thing has a cool vibe. a couple players had UI trouble or small bugs, but the core idea is strong and the style stands out. solid jam entry. (pls play my game)
Cool mix of 2D and 3D for the art! Combat was fun.
Nice balance of dialogue and fighting. Art looks good, story is interesting. Great job!
I liked the art, especially on the Itch page. The story was interesting and it was a nice way to break up the gameplay loop.
I really struggled with the UI, I don't know if it's just a bug on my end?
I like the "main" (?) gameplay where you killed enemies. Wish there was more of that and that the dialogue was introduced into that world instead.
Would love to see what the final vision of this game is with all the polish!
I had some problems understanding the game flow and actions of the enemies and characters, I didn't even realize I was betrayed at the end until the screen told me! Overall, the idea is super cool, maybe too ambitous for the jam? I can see the effort and the vision tho.
I really like both the art style and the animation. I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but I tried refreshing the website 4 times and the music was choppy, the sound seemed to freeze, but it still played, just a little laggy.
I liked it, it was a lot of fun!
Thank you so much. I looked into it and turns out there's quite a few extra steps for FMOD unity integration to work on WebGL. should hopefully be sorted now. Alternatively it could be that we needed to build it with full stacktrace to debug webgl issues and forgot to switch it off. Thank you for the good feedback though!
Looks really unique. Would play more of it.
I really liked the setting and the story. Sometimes I wasn’t 100% sure what was happening, but I got it after some time. I also really enjoyed the music.
Enjoyed playing it!
Good work!! I enjoyed the art and the gameplay. My final boss guy fell off the playing field closest to the camera tho!
Voted!
Amazing art style, fun game.
Wow, this game is really fun. And the artstyle and the 2.5D feel is just sooo cool.
