How does the game fit the theme?
In this game, believing or not believing what you're told shapes the world. But every refusal feeds your paranoia. Trust no one long enough, and the last person you can't trust is yourself.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
- All musical themes
- Certain sound effects
- All environment sprites

This was an incredible experience! The effect / shader with paranoia and how it makes you unable to use the map in the top right was awesome. It made feel lost but in a good way since I was able find my way to the right places. With the sound design it made the game feel really uneasy and unsettling!
The amount choices and how they actually make a difference was also amazing! I found 3 different endings and there is probably more that I missed. The shined in the writing and dialogue. To be honest I cant think anything I would change or improve on. Great job!
Thank you so much for playing and for taking the time to leave a review! It’s really encouraging to hear your thoughts, and I’m especially glad you tried the full loop multiple times. There are 5 endings in total (2 good and 3 bad).
Have a wonderful day, and thanks again!
The game was so beautiful! I really loved the idea. Great job!
super fun lil game!! i loved the paranoia mechanic :3c nice replay-ability too! lovely cohesive style from UI to art to music to gameplay- overall a very solid experience :D
The game is very intriguing! The instanity effect was very good, and the entire game induced a feeling of paranoia with the confusing paths and untrustworthy people.
I almost gave up on finishing the game honestly, but then I noticed the map on the top right lol. I still think it's a bit confusing that the orientation of the map and the environment is not the same. I got the "good" ending, but honestly I'm not sure how believing and not believing affect things
In my game I also have a trust meter than have a hidden effect, and I'm not wondering if people don't understand what it does either lol
Anyway, great game, and amazing pixel art!
Hey! The way I built the game’s logic is that whatever you believe becomes true. So if you believe the bridge is destroyed, it will be. If you don’t, you’ll be able to cross it, but your paranoia level will increase.
I think one of my mistakes was not making this clear enough to the player during their first decision.
Thank you for your review! I’ll definitely try your game ;)
very nice graphics and art, great tale!
Love the visual effects as you progress further in, very fun map generation too, was really interesting to path it, and the endings are great!
Fantastic twist on a classic tale! I love how 'procedural' the map is, leaving the player the agency to create a map. The only gripe I have is because of the maddness filter, the map grid get illegible pretty quickly, losing the ability to navigate. While partially the point, the character gets lost anyway upon some stage, so it could be improved. Is there an ending where we actually meet the grandma tho? Or is she always the wolf.
Thank you for your feedback! Yes, the progression from the normal state to paranoia is a bit too fast.. And yes, there are Grandma endings. the wolf or Grandma is randomly chosen at the end of each run (but the clues you get during the game indicating which one it is are meaningful)
I really liked the non linearity of choosing how the world connects. I also enjoyed the endings. very cool 👍👍👍
