A visual novel for a game jam is a very brave decision. The genre is extremely hard to produce in a short time crunch without using stock/paid assets. I don't know how but you pulled it off! The visuals and dialogue are really good! My only gripes are with the quest system and the colors.

While it's most certainly due to the time crunch, I would've loved to see the quest system used more than two or three times, even at the cost of lower-quality dialogue, or reused set pieces.

As for the color, I really love the monochrome style. But I find it jarring that some of the frames used color. I suppose it's for the fire considering how it's stylized. But if I were to continue this project, I'd make sure to save color for elements requiring contrast, like fire or blood. Please remember to make blood red. Or you might have this happen to you.

Would love to see this worked on into a full release!

Great visuals and story!

Really pretty visuals, very poetic word choices. I think I'm just bad at the game because I kept getting the same ending screen.

really nice! the visuals are amazing. i'm kinda stupid and i don't remember greek mythology that well so it was a bit difficult to keep track of all the characters and the story. still very well made!

Right off the bat, the best way to play this game in the browser is to play in Full screen.
I Loved the visuals.
I also … always ended up seeing the city of Troy in flames, LOL

The story and the art stand out the most. Although the Hector pose is a little weird to me. And, also there is a save system so you don't have to start over from beginning. I wish there are hints further to guide what i must choose. At least subtle hint like how Cassandra felt.  Very good submission, love playing the game.

Wow, Renpy!! The art hear is stunning and so detailed! It's very impressive. I don't usally give critiques on stories in game jams, but since this is all story, I'll give my 2 cents. I think the story itself is interesting and good, but I found it hard to understand what was happening as someone who knows very little about Greek mythology and history. And with so many characters thrown in at once, its hard to keep track of who's who. I'm all for not info-dumping on the player/reader, but there are many ways to more clearly hint as to what was happening and the significance of each character. But that could just be me. Other then that, this is a wonderfully unique game with amazing art. Good job!

I absolutely loved the story! It’s easily the best one I’ve played in this jam so far. The art and sound design are also spectacular. Really, really great work!

Turning “Trust No One” into “No One Trusts ” is such a brilliant interpretation of the theme! I really love how you used the story of the Trojan War as the setting for the game!!

The art is amazing, the music is amazing, and the dialogue design is amazing too! The game also runs really smoothly, and I especially appreciate the shortcuts that let me make choices quickly while trying to figure out how to reach the true ending XD

Really great work!!

Really nice art style and music! Liked how you flipped the theme around by focusing on what happens when no one trusts you, and using Cassandra and the Trojan War fits that idea well. Nice work!

The art looks fantastic! Lovely shading. The music is so atmospheric. Played it a couple of times to try and get a different ending, but it seems Troy is doomed to fall by my hand HAHA. Interesting game! Good job!
