How does the game fit the theme?
In this game, you assume identities and make moves to seduce your dates into paying for your dinner. You are the suspicious one here!

Beautiful and cleverly designed game that is fun to play, built right on the theme and is a full and complete experience, even with a story inside! That is actually a very rare find!

It’s a shame you have so few rates, your game deserves better!

The only thing I can critique is the lack of ability to play the game in a full screen mode on the web as when you pressing the full screen mode button the canvas does not resize along with the container and the text are a bit to small to be read them comfortable.

Great cozy deck builder! The personas and card rewards make it so you have a lot ways to play. Surprisingly deep even though there are that many cards to choose from :O.

On improvement I would end the turn automatically once energy runs out. Unless I missed a regain energy card and mechanic to play more than 3 cards per turn. But if you make a regain energy to card leave it as it is.

There is so much potential here so I would love to see endless mode, more cards and dates. Looking forward to if you continue this project!

Great fun, VERY appealing package well put together! Played on stream with comments. Thanks!

hi thank you SO MUCH FOR PLAYING! i didn’t have playtesters that came in completely cold when i was developing the game, so watching you play has really helped me identify my own blind spots in development. a few things i didn’t communicate super clearly: when you choose an identity and the character likes it, you get an increase in stats for all your cards. charm is basically like your attack for the game, so a larger charm increases the damage of the cards. def need to do some cleaning up on my post jam release. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PLAYING AGAIN I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!! it’s been really valuable for me and i’m sure it has been for all the other devs as well :-)

This is an game with huge potential, I love the art and the concept of battling your date to reduce the bill. Only problem is I kept being accused of being avoidant and getting money added to my bill, also I wasn't sure how many cards I was allowed to play each turn. But overall great game well done!

Developer

hi and thank you for playing!!! regrettably ran out of time for a tutorial, but the main mechanic of the game was that your date tries to add money to your bill and you play cards to reduce it.  the cards per turn depended on how much energy each card you use takes. i'll definitely clarify all of this when i do my post jam tune up. thank you again!

hi thanks for playing. i realized i uploaded an incomplete build last time, and this build has a little more "how to play" context + fixed some missing tooltips if you wanted to try it out again
