How does the game fit the theme?
You are an interdimensional inspector that has one job. DO NOT LET ALIENS IN, trust no one, everybody lies

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We used some tools like DoTween etc.. More info on credits if needed.

I really really liked it, very nice looking art and the sound and music were really fitting. Very polished and working perfectly fine, was kind of hard for me to decipher who was an alien or who wasn't at the start but then I got the hang of it. I'd have liked for a timer like in Papers Please but other than that it's awesome!

We made them work until they turned into zombies.

Wow, really stunning art and interesting game. It was a little overwhelming with the amount of information given at the start that you have to go through before the game - it might be good if Tu Torial could slowly introduce you to mechanics - starting with just one kind of execution method or a specific alien for example. Really cool game, and impressive team amount!

woah, 14 people working on it is crazy

Developer(+3)

Yeah things were pretty chaotic but I have seen teams of 60+ before.

Submitted(+4)

that's crazy how on earth do they manage thattttt

This is a fantastic game! Really enjoyed the lore and character designs. Hard for me to find some feedback to give, maybe some bold emphasis on keywords in the guidebook. Awesome work all around!

This is a great game!
As others have said, there's a lot of reading.  Not that i have any room to gripe about that.
I also had a hard time looking at their paperwork, and thought that some of the ui was confusing. Like maybe i was only supposed to be able to access their paperwork after asking all three questions? Also, it would have been cool if there was a way to skip asking additional questions after they answered one question incorrectly.
Anyway, this game kicks ass and you should be super proud of yourselves! I try to give everyone something they could improve on, but your game was especially hard for me to find ways to critique.  These small bugs don't really effect game play, and it's still a lot of fun with them.
Super well done!

Amazing entry! I loved both the graphics and the gameplay, and it really kept me hooked!

I’m a bit lazy when it comes to reading, so maybe I’m just not the target audience for that part, but I think a more concise guidebook could be a nice addition too.

Excellent job!

Really creative visuals and gameplay! My only complaint is that too much stuff is thrown at the player at once. I found the guidebook and all the different mechanics slightly overwhelming at first, but once I got started, most things clicked.

Super duper amazing visuals! It was hard to understand alien types at first even though i read the book.  But it was a nice experience.  <3

I really liked this game! Amazing art, really. The mechanics were fun. I think there is a bug of not being able to check the person's bio until after you're done questioning them, but other than that it feels really polished. I initially struggled with the addition of the devices because I forgot about the shop; the phrasing of "X device has been added to your workstation" was a bit confusing haha. Great job :)

Developer(+1)

We're so sorry for it. The "your workstation" should've been "the shop".

art style is amazing. everything is well done, i love the flipable book! the game mechanics are very cool once you pick them up. good job

Cool game with very good art

The art was great! I didn't find out that you could see peoples' bios until the very end, so that was a bit of a bummer. Other than that, I figured out most things fairly well. Great job!

It was fun! I find it was a little confusing at first though. The art is really good.

Fun game! Took me awhile to understand what to do but once I got it it was nice interactive storytelling.
