I really like the idea! You got me with the hiding spot from the “gust of wind” haha
The music, SFX, and the art itself add so much to the experience

Whenever I start wondering if I should keep playtesting games for jams because it takes up so much of my time, I come across gems like your game

Very cute! I love the artstyle, the animation and drawings are incredibly polished for just 1 week. The gameplay is simple but effective, I tend to be a jumpy person and got jump-scared a few times by the sudden threats lol. Great job!

Developer

Thank you so very much! ♡

And glad to hear the jumpscares worked XD I intended those to be rather mild, but still they should provide the true hamster experience, amiright? XD

Such a cute little hamster — I went down a few times at the end, but I finally beat it XD

Developer

Haha, nice! Thanks for playing!

I had a lot of fun with this! The ways the hamster dies are so hilarious and creative.

This was very enjoyable. The hamster looks super adorable, the running looked really good, death screen made me laugh, and I immediately wanted to go back for another run.

Developer

Thank you! ♡

This is both incredibly cute and also darkly funny when you actually die.  Definitely my winner so far for best art, the music was wonderful too.  The gameplay was obviously very simple but on theme and worked well.  Hope you get more ratings, can't believe I'm only the 5th one!  Awesome work!

Developer

Omg, thank you so very much for such kind words! We both are really happy to hear that ♡

I really became hamster very quickly - "what the fuck is that?" Oh god no what is happening" - such a good mix of adorable and tense, I am in love with the scurry. One of my favourite games of this jam!

Developer

Glad to hear we managed to make an immersive experience x) Thank you very much!

Hahaha it was supposed to be a meteor but I guess it's hard to tell with how fast it happens XD

Thanks! Loved your game

This is so charming! Look at them go!

The leaf blower really got me by surprise (so did the last threat lmao). I really want to see all "got ham" animations now!

Excellent entry!
