A fun little game! I really liked the knight and enemy sprites - they are very well designed and give the game a nice style.

I think the combat could use a bit more polish. For example, adding hit sounds, giving both the player and enemies some kind of blocking or defensive mechanic, or introducing a few other elements could make the fights feel more varied and satisfying.

But overall, good job!

Great game idea really liked the knight sprite and some of the enemies, though I don't fully see how it fit the theme and the music started getting a bit annoying after a while

Impressive sprites, knight and foes looked so well-designed. But the combat was a bit dry, should have some particle or sound to signal the player if there were some hit/hurt things.

The monsters look great in this game!

I think it is a bit too hard, I gave up after dying the third time when entering the basement. Also, some feedback (like knockback & sounds) on getting hit and hitting the enemies would be nice.

Really liked the monster designs. Combat wise i felt like some of the enemy hits (especially the bug ones) were really fast. Maybe some kind of heal pack or something like that could also help because i was constantly low hp looking for a next place to heal. Regardless nice entry!

the combat and gameplay was rather simple and straghtforward, but the art was great, really loved the enemy art of that one giant, had a lot of details. i mightve bugged out in the end while escaping, i didnt really see an end screen. Although a really cool game with cool art.

Is that my goat Bandlab I hear in the music ?! A simple game that is definitely missing sounds and some other types of visual feedback, only being able to attack sideways was awkward at times because some enemies would get stuck in places you couldn't easily attack, and then it became really difficult to progress. It would also have been nice if losing health wasn't permanent somehow, but maybe that's a personal taste of not finding a death by a thousand cuts type progression to be that compelling. Really clean art though! Feels very nostalgic.

Some nice sound effects would have helped with the combat feedback, but very nice visuals and style.
