How does the game fit the theme?
My game is a play on the words of the theme itself. I turned "Trust no one" to "Trust o" or to trust zero the bot that betrays Pete in the end. Revealing the theme of the jam.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
My game engine I used is Godot. Used aseprite and Krita for art. finally, I used audacity and bosca ceoil for the sounds and music.

I licked it specially the ending

holding space and watching little robot 0 stamp out copies of himself into a wobbly staircase so chef pete can reach the burger is a lovely mechanic, and the title being a pun you only get at the end is a smart way to hide the theme. great for two days

Trust 0 is a charming short puzzle platformer with a clever interpretation of the jam theme. I liked the idea of relying on Zero to build steps, navigate the level, and block hazards, especially because the game's story turns that trust into the central twist.

The handmade art gives the game a lot of character, and it is impressive to see the visual work, menu presentation, and platforming concept brought together in a short jam project. The platforming itself is simple, but the clone mechanic makes the puzzles feel distinct.

My main suggestion would be to introduce the Space cloning mechanic with an in-game prompt when it first becomes necessary. I initially only saw it in the controls description, so a short message such as “Hold Space to summon Zero” would make the intended solution much clearer. A replay or restart button at the end would also make it easier to jump back in.

Overall, this is a very nice submission with an interesting core mechanic and a strong thematic payoff. Great work!

This one is really good. The mechanic is very interesting and if you had more time I think you could make a nicely progressing escalation of your mechanic. Like for example getting more clones as you go. I feel like you've proven a very interesting idea with this one.

Developer

Yeah. I wanted to add a limit to the clones but ran out of time.

What a gool game. Especially impressive if you say you only had two days to work on it. Well done!

The success sound you recorded made me giggle every time.

I also liked the plot twist in the end to embrace the theme of the jam.

If can give you one little feedback: The controls were a bit confusing at first, because space is often anticipated with jump and tab only worked from Robot to Person but not the other way around.

Very neat concept though and it has potential for more super difficult levels that I'd totally speedrun.

Good job! :)
