How does the game fit the theme?
The game explores the theme through its story and dialogue. The teacher we initially trust gradually betrays us, while the other students lie to us, leaving us unable to trust anyone.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The sound effects.

How many people worked on the game?

Wow, the goofy walking animation is so funny and the grappling hook mechanic is very fun!

Also the professor was really creepy xD

I really loved this! The player character physics are really fun, the little wobble as they moved around I just really enjoyed. The characters made me think of the goofyness of a whacky wavy inflatable arm man/tube wind sock thing, in a very good way haha. I could very happily play more physics games by your team! The protractor/compass tool is incredibly fun as well, I think if you patch or continue the game in the future you can make some very fun puzzles with this tool.
I did get an error at some point that was in French but could not screen shot it fast enough, sorry.

I did find it quite tricky with the camera following the player, it seemed to keep sinking into the floor and the angle got progressively weirder as the game went on (however i was still able to complete the game and escape so I guess it was not that bad!). But it actually gave me a fun idea part way through - I started to think it was intentional and that the goal was to escape by moving the camera outside of the school to use the protractor tool to fling myself into the skybox! So maybe that could be something silly/fun to try out with the camera set up like this!

I was so happy when I realized enter completes the dialogue as the slowness of it typing did make me want to rage quit LOL. But it was so fine when I did realize. Overall I really liked this game, and I would play again if you update it in the future!

Thank you so much for playing our game and taking the time to write such a detailed comment! It means a lot to us. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the physics and the character's little wobble; the comparison to those inflatable advertising tube men personally gave me a good laugh. The protractor tool was also really fun to design, and we love the idea of using it for other physics-based puzzles in the future! We’re sorry about the camera issues and the error message appearing in French. We’ll definitely keep that in mind if we continue developing the game. And yes, the ability to press Enter to skip dialogue was really important... we didn't want anyone to give up out of sheer frustration! Thanks again for playing and for all your feedback!

The subversion of a typical game tutorial is such a clever way to execute the theme! The intentional jank, meme-tier character model kept me grinning. Nice game

The model on the player character was so funny! He looks a lot like Peter Griffin lmao. The music was also really funny, like some kid in GarageBand making a "masterpiece" lmao! I wish the text was able to go a little bit faster - I had to wait a little bit to be able to do anything lol. Some cool things to add might be some sound effects for footsteps to make it even more goofy! I hope you all had a great time on your game and I wish you luck on your jam!

Thank you so much for testing the game and for the constructive feedback!

Regarding the dialogue, you can actually speed it up by pressing the "Enter" key while the text is appearing. As for the sound effects, we've just added them! Thanks again for playing and for the suggestions!
