oh and obligatory add: if you do have time please cna you play and rate our game? tysm :)

I really loved this! The player character physics are really fun, the little wobble as they moved around I just really enjoyed. The characters made me think of the goofyness of a whacky wavy inflatable arm man/tube wind sock thing, in a very good way haha. I could very happily play more physics games by your team! The protractor/compass tool is incredibly fun as well, I think if you patch or continue the game in the future you can make some very fun puzzles with this tool.
I did get an error at some point that was in French but could not screen shot it fast enough, sorry.

I did find it quite tricky with the camera following the player, it seemed to keep sinking into the floor and the angle got progressively weirder as the game went on (however i was still able to complete the game and escape so I guess it was not that bad!). But it actually gave me a fun idea part way through - I started to think it was intentional and that the goal was to escape by moving the camera outside of the school to use the protractor tool to fling myself into the skybox! So maybe that could be something silly/fun to try out with the camera set up like this!

I was so happy when I realized enter completes the dialogue as the slowness of it typing did make me want to rage quit LOL. But it was so fine when I did realize. Overall I really liked this game, and I would play again if you update it in the future!

thank you so much! many of us didn't sleep, it was crazy! I think in the future I'm curious to see what I can do solo for a jam as well, it's very cool you did everything for your own game solo!

Oooh I'm gonna check it out now. This is oursif you get the chance to look please!

Hope everyone survived the jam and had fun!!

I'm gonna be playing and rating as many games as I can today! I'm especially interested in any games that have a narrative component so pls share those <3

And if people get the chance please also check out our game Murder at Crandock Hall! It was so much chaos and fun making it, and the team all worked super hard - I feel very lucky to have worked with such a talented bunch~ so please do check it out if you can!

Impressed that you did the jam on you own! It's a cool take on the theme, and the trust and crafting systems are interesting. I did find it confusing to start with, maybe if you patch it post-jam having some in-game tutorial or tooltips could help?

Nice, I'll take a look! If you get a chance to play ours that would be lovely, thank you! https://duckindisguise.itch.io/murder-at-crandock-hall

heyo, one of the writers here! thx for your feedback! i think we struggled quite a bit with tone shift as originally i was meant to write everything but of course the project was v ambitious (and i have a small baby oop) so another team member v kindly jumped on a bunch of the dialogues but you can definitely feel the shift in style between us. and the shift in style between my 3AM writing lol. i did intentionally lean in to the cliches, like tried to go for that agatha christie sorta vibe as i've never tried the genre before and with the time limit i wanted to ham it up a bit.

omg im so sorry about that riddle, we are going to update the hints to be much more sensible as i wrote it when my brain was running on fumes. so the starting word for the password is 'lenore' and then the hint for the cipher is mean to lead you to the number of letters in crandock (8), so we are wanting you to shift lenore alphabetically by 8. i don't think literally anyone has gotten to it without needing it explained yet, my b.

This is great, thank you! Is there a way to have mixed pronouns for a character, ie. she/they? I was thinking maybe it's possible to have a new pronoun set for those options and then somehow make it 50-50 which pronoun list gets used each time... not sure how to do that though, I'll try and work it out!

Blood That Warms is SO GOOD! Everything about is UNNERVING in the best possible way. I quickly fell in love with the characters, rooting for them and their relationships, which of course gave the tension so much more leverage over me.

If an interactive story of folk-sy SPOOKINESS with beautiful prose and a loveable LGBTQ cast sounds like your thing - then I wholeheartedly recommend Blood That Warms.
