How does the game fit the theme?
A little bear with agoraphobia walks down the street, surrounded by voices attacking her from every direction.
Everyone seems to be watching her with malicious eyes, whispering cruel and hurtful words under their breath.
She can no longer bring herself to trust anyone.
Put on your headphones, turn up the music, and fight back against the fears inside her mind.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
no

You can really tell that a lot of effort went into the overall visual atmosphere, and the character designs are really cute and charming too!
One bug I noticed was that changing the volume setting didn’t seem to have any effect.
Nice art and music.
Really nice game. I liked the theme.
Really fun game I like how the theme was implemented.
I liked the theme a lot. I didn't understand why when the 2nd level began, I instantly died and havn't be able to see what it was.
As you have multiple level I think you should have make the first level really shorter, its quite long and too repetitive to justify that length
Don't hesitate to test our game : /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4942051
它非常可爱。音乐也很好听。我非常喜欢。🥰💕💕
In the browser version when changing focus, the mouse can disappear and the shooting cursor doesn't come back. Would also be great if the levels were a bit shorter and you didn't have to wait through the intro scene every time, but the visuals were nice.
Hey, I love your game <3
I couldn't finish it (yet) because I was playing in the browser, moved to another program on my computer (notification --') and the game lost the focus so I couldn't play anymore. Is the downloadable version compatible with Linux ?
Also, I love you brought this (important) topic, the way you did it, the art.
'm not fat but as an autistic and queer person I related a lot with how the character escapes and struggles so your game took well on me too <3
The gameplay works well but is a bit too repetitive (for what I could try) - however it fits well with the theme. I
Thank you so much for your kind words and taking time to play our game <3
Unfortunately we don’t have a Linux build available at the moment — sry about that!
It really means a lot to us knowing that the game resonated with you. That’s exactly the kind of connection we hoped to create, so hearing this truly makes our day<3
Thank you for the feedback on the repetitiveness as well — we’ll be working on improving that along with other fixes once the jam period is over. really appreciate your honest and thoughtful review ❤️
The pleasure is mine, I wish we saw more of these themes in jams (and games in general).
Can you tell me when you issue a new version after the jam ? I'd be very happy to play it again and share with friends :D
It's ok for the no Linux build, as long as you have a web build I can play. I was asking this because if you issue a more complete (and paid) version and I buy it I'd like to be able to download it. I love short, meaningful 2d games and I prefer buying ten 2-10€ of those than the mainstream 60€ triple-As. I don't know if that's shared by a lot of people though ><
Awwww, your words really give us more motivation to keep working on it haha :3
We're currently making some changes, and we're hoping to upload a new version right around the end of the Game Jam!!
Again, your comment really made us feel that making games that explore topics like this is meaningful. It means a lot to us ❤
Oh nice, I'm super happy to read this !
I'll come back to play after the jam then :D And I'm following you to see your other games too.
