All you need to know is the red ball lied.

Absolutely amazing I love the mechanics simple and effective so clean and smooth but I have trust issues now:))))))
I like the effects visuals are really good!

Really cool concept! I love how everything the balls say is half true and half false, so you really can't trust anyone XD

I also really like the UI design and the lighting on the balls. It looks really beautiful! :D

Hey!!! That's a nice game! I feel like the color-based mechanic of figuring out who to trust and who not to trust could have been developed a little further, as it sometimes feels like a guessing game and you just have to rely on luck.

I restarted the game many times and never managed to find the exit. I feel like the first level could perhaps be a little shorter too, just so players can get an idea of what the exit looks like and understand what they're actually looking for before moving on to more difficult levels.

I also loved the stressful music when they start chasing you, it really added to the tension!

Thank you for sharing!!! :)

Thanks! Will do the same for you once I get some caffeine in my system. There are actually a alot of strategies/meta that emerges when you think about the overall system. Im one of those old school guys that doesn't like to hand hold the gamer as I think it takes away from the emergent properties of the game. One strategy is just actually never talking to the orbs and treating it like a normal maze game hence "Trust No One". The orbs themselves are like mini checkpoints so even if you dont have trust or dont want to use trust you can "remember" where you are at in the maze but looking at the color combinations. There are never two of the same color in a row. I do agree though that level 1 should definitely be easier. I had my brothers game test it and we all super nerds so I was more catering to them than a general audience. Appreciate all the feedback!

Really well made game, and I enjoyed it, but didn't quite understand how the world worked. After a few minutes of playing, though, I got the hang of it!

Sincerly when i saw the ui i thought it was going to be bad but brooo

this was peak man nice one i would like if i could download it tho

The camera logic is really well done — the perspective switches feel smooth and comfortable. The maze design is also excellent. It would be even better if you could add some footstep sound effects or similar audio details! :D

Cool eerie maze concept! Saw a seed upon death—is it procedurally generated?

Died in the angry chase, though turning the camera while running was quite dizzying :D

Developer

Yes it is! It's a super simple generation logic though. I'm surprised more people haven't figured out the "pattern". It's a combination of T junctions and L junctions ;).

Cool idea with the trust mechanic in an eerie maze, fits the whole deception thing really well. I liked how it starts kinda calm and then suddenly turns into a chase, that switch got me haha. Movement felt a little awkward in corners and some extra sound cues for the chasers would help, but overall this was super memorable, nice job :)
