How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme by making the player question everything around them. During the night, the sheep initially seem completely normal, but strange events gradually make the player suspect that one of them may not actually be a sheep. The wolf hides among the flock and only reveals its true behavior when the player is not looking, creating a constant feeling of uncertainty and distrust. The player must observe the sheep carefully, identify the wolf, and decide when to trust what they see before using their limited two shotgun shells.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We used some pre-made environment assets. All other game-specific elements and gameplay systems were created by our team during the jam.

Very very scary! From the random monster sound to the overall unsettling vibes, you created a really nice horror game! Not sure if I was supposed to be shearing the sheep at night; I thought shearing would uncover who the fake sheep was, but then all my sheep would die, one by one. I saw the jump scare a mile away but it still got me, lol. Well done!

Hey there, thanks for playing! We're glad you got scared, haha. There was a shotgun in the office, you could have used it to kill the wolf.  Thankss!!  :P

Maybe I shouldn't shear my sheep in the middle of the night.... I should probably also get a sheepdog or something. Jokes aside, this was really good and very effective at conveying the horror. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, haha, maybe, but that's the job, hahahahh. Thanks for playing!!  :P

The game did a great job of making me feel uneasy without relying entirely on jump scares. The atmosphere was probably my favorite part, especially the way the environment made me feel like something could happen at any moment. I found myself being much more cautious than I expected, constantly checking my surroundings and wondering if I had missed something. Some of the mechanics were a little frustrating at times, particularly when I had to interrupt what I was doing to deal with threats, but I think that also added to the tension. There were a few moments where I genuinely wasn't sure whether I should move forward or turn back, which made the experience feel surprisingly immersive. Overall, it was a creepy and engaging experience that definitely managed to get in my head.

Developer

Hi, thanks for your comments and for sharing your experience with the game. Yes, the intention was precisely to create moments of tension amidst the farmer's daily tasks. Thanks for playing, we're glad you enjoyed it!    :D

BRUH yal are crazy!!!!!!!! Great idea, great implementation. You got me good lmfao.

Developer

Hahaha, seriously, thanks for playing, I hope you had a good time! :D

You did a good job of creating an immersive atmosphere. I wasn't really ready for how much of a horror game it was, and I was actually nervous when trying to give the sheep their food, but that was mostly because I was forced to constantly put down my shotgun, which was admittedly quite frustrating. I did have an issue because I shot the sheep that I identified as the monster, but nothing happened. I missed the second time which is when it got me.

Developer

We're glad you played our game and had a good time, hhaha, thanks for playing.

Nice job creating a spooky atmosphere, the music helped a lot with that.

At first I thought the game was going in a different direction with more of an item driven horror story, and I think you guys could do a good job of something like that.

How it actually went fit the theme very well. You got me with the scare but I went back and got my revenge.

Well done!

Super spooky! I somehow managed to walk over a fence and out of the map at one point. Other than that the game was really great. Super ominous atmosphere!

Developer

Hahaha, thanks for playing. We had some issues with the colliders xd.

This one was interesting. When getting food for the sheep, I somehow lost my shotgun but continued playing. Even after throwing hay into their space, it didn't seem like the goal updated at all. Seeing sheep die all around me while trying to figure it out was really intense. Nice work.

Thank you so much for playing! We've noticed that a lot of people have had a little trouble with the tasks, it can feel confusing sometimes. But thank you for the feedback.

It pulled me into the atmosphere right from the start. I immediately felt like something wasn’t quite right, so I kept my shotgun ready the whole time. Then the first jumpscare absolutely made me shit my pants xD. Really enjoyed it, especially for such a short game, and I thought it fit the theme really well!

Developer(+1)

Haha, we're glad it scared you but that you enjoyed it too! Thanks for your comments and for playing.
