Hello, I’m a programmer currently working on a small first person burglary game called Saint Albatross.

Saint Albatross is set in a rural Scottish town and takes visual inspiration from early 2000s games such as GTA San Andreas with a low poly PS2 kinda style aesthetic.

The main gameplay loop is focused on scouting properties, breaking into them and avoiding security

The player can then steal valuables, later selling the stolen goods through the player’s pawn shop.

A big part of the game is physical interaction. Small items such as jewelry and watches can be stored in a stash while larger items such as TVs, paintings, sinks and other big pieces of furniture have to be physically carried out of the property.

The buildings and town layout are heavily inspired by real Scottish architecture but interiors will be designed around gameplay not really recreated exactly.

I am currently handling, programming, game design/ gameplay systems

I am mainly looking for, 3D Artist, environment artist, UI/UX designer

Feel free to DM me.

Hey! I'm interested in the 3D/Environment Artist role. I'm a 3D artist with experience creating game ready assets and environments, and the PS2 style aesthetic for Saint Albatross sounds really interesting. I'd be happy to share some of my work if you're still looking!

if you haven't found one, i kind of know a thing or two about ps2 style. my models are here https://x.com/coryzarechnov

Hello Your project, Saint Albatross, sounds genuinely interesting. I really like the direction you're taking with the early 2000s PS2-inspired visual style combined with a physical interaction-focused burglary gameplay system.

I'm an experienced creator within the Skyrim and VRChat space, with strong familiarity in 3D assets, environments, game world design, optimization, and creating immersive interactive experiences. Working within these communities has given me experience with game-ready assets and environments, including balancing visual quality with performance and functionality.

Your approach to the Scottish architecture and gameplay-focused interiors sounds particularly interesting. I understand the importance of designing environments that not only look authentic but also support gameplay, player navigation, interaction, and level flow.

I would definitely be interested in learning more about the project and discussing where my skills could potentially contribute, especially in areas related to 3D environments, assets, optimization, and immersive world design.

Feel free to send me a DM if you would like to discuss the project further. I  would be happy to hear more about Saint Albatross and your vision for the game.

Hi iwgg. Godot 4 is my engine and PS2-era low poly is the style I build in: hard edges, small textures, a flat-lit look, everything inside a tight tri budget. One question first: is this paid work or a rev-share team?

If paid, I'd rather show than tell. Give me one Scottish exterior from your references (a sandstone tenement corner, a close, a shopfront) with your tri and texture budget and I'll build it as a Godot-ready glTF so you can walk it in your scene, no charge. Recent work: a modular trim-sheeted counter kit with LODs and collision for a first-person horror game, and a PS1-style rigged character. Renders on request. Discord: skykingatelo

Hey! I saw your post looking for a 3D artist for your low-poly PS2-style burglary game, Saint Albatross and would love to help craft props and assets for your rural Scottish town. Your focus on physical interactions like carrying large furniture out of properties sounds like a lot of fun to build for. Since you are aiming for an early 2000s aesthetic inspired by titles like GTA San Andreas are you targeting a specific poly count or texture resolution limit for the props?
