I somehow got the bot to 1 marbles in my first run
And after that I can just bet on Even and Trust the bot every time because it can't bet anything but one XD
I'd say this is a pretty okay concept and also very RNG game

How does the game fit the theme?
The theme is literally the title: Trust No One. Every core mechanic revolves around not being able to trust your opponent's word. Before each reveal, the AI states a bet amount out loud — but it's lying about half the time. The player must choose to TRUST or DOUBT that claim before the actual marbles are revealed, with no way to verify the truth until it's too late. Even the scoring system rewards correctly reading through the AI's deception, not just guessing odd/even correctly. The whole game is built around the tension of deciding who — and what — to believe.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Character and table 3D models are from a pre-made asset pack, not modeled from scratch.
A significant portion of the GDScript code (game logic, AI behavior, UI wiring, procedural sound effects) was written with the help of Claude (Anthropic's AI assistant) throughout development.
Sound effects are procedurally generated via code at runtime — no external audio files were used
How many people worked on the game?2
I'm not really a huge fan of heavily RNGed games, but the 3D characters were cute :D
Im either terrible at gambling or am the unluckiest man ever LOL
I immediately remembered the squid game!)) Interesting bluff mechanics, there may still be some Additional hints missing to diversify the game and not quite poke your finger in the sky. In reality, we would look at the opponent's behavior and emotions and try to predict them.
This bluffing concept is super fun and fits the jam theme perfectly, especially since the AI actually follows a pattern rather than just lying randomly. The procedurally generated sound effects are a really cool technical touch, and the psychological tension when placing bets works great.
It's a nice, simple game! I'm really curious how you procedurally generated the sound effects.
I can tell the AI isn't just random. it seems to follow some pattern, which is a nice touch.
Critiques:
As others have mentioned, this game needs some juice.
I still don't fully understand how the scoring system works — some explanation would help :D
The UI text also goes by quite fast.
Other than that, great concept!
It's a simple game alright, though I feel like there's no real skill involved. The procgen sfx sounds cool, would love to hear more explanation about it. You should add more juice and animations to the betting, as it's the core loop of the game.
Overall Game looks nice.Sticked to the theme point. Some improvement needed in the visual and animations.
The concept is interesting, but I feel like it needs a little more detail in the user interface and some better animations. Still, I think the idea is really interesting.
Its a very simple but nice game and concept. Just missing the animations and the environment. Personally, I'd say also add a bunch of vfx and eye candy so theres a lot of impact and "juice" to winning or losing the bet. Thats a personal take tho. In my eyes, this game just seems pretty unfinished so I think you'll improve on the game a lot. Great game though!
We have similar ideas, bro! Just missing the animations. Other than that, everything's good.
It's a really great game, and it seems a bit underrated in the reviews. Great job—I really liked the concept.
