Enter a New World - The degraded sound is cool and adds a layer of mystery.

Portal to a Hidden World - My favorite track. Nice layered ostinato, and I love how the different parts interact with each other rhythmically. Good job building up the orchestration then breaking it back down.

Lyra in the Hidden City - I enjoyed how the instruments were arranged, but the melody could be more distinct.

Boss First Battle - The chord progression and bassline are nice here. A separate section with a new chord progression could take this to the next level.

Boss Second Battle - Nice idea to use this Dorian sound which fits the theme. I would be careful about using that A in the melody over the F# chord, though. Without getting too complicated with theory, it would sound more convincing (as a #9 tension) by placing it in the upper octaves rather than the lower one that you have it in here.

Enter a New World - Nice composition and atmosphere with a sweet melody.

A Tale for the Eons - Good work with this arrangement. I like how the different voices interact with each other, and the different drum beats throughout, including one that has a reggaeton feel in the middle!

Stealth Mode - Nice jaunty rhythm and melody in this one, the chord choices give it a darker mood which is cool.

You wrote a good amount of music here with a varied collection of moods and scenarios. In doing so, you did a great job of telling a complete story that matches your game concept and the jam’s theme. Good work!

A charming and pretty soundtrack all around! I like the variety throughout these tracks and the different situations they represent in the game. You've managed to write a very complete soundtrack given the time restraints and I think that's a great achievement. Congrats!

Simple, yet effective! I like how this submission sounds, how it's changes from a melancholic vibe while exploring, to a more intense mood when you're in a fight. The instruments sound nice, and they go very well together, all because of a good mixing! Definitely like this project!

Really nice OST. Definitely fits an narrative RPG-style game. Overall cohesive sound too. Good job!

Charming, really charming, I would love to see your dynamic music variations in action with the gameplay.

I have to praise your boss and battle themes; they have the intensity needed for a fight scene, yet never lose the charm and whimsy found in the rest of the soundtrack—I can only picture a lovely, bright world that needs saving.

Overall, the storytelling is definitely there. Each track does a good job at establishing a setting and vibe. However, I feel like a lot of the tracks here suffer from having a lack of cohesion. This is most prevalent in background tracks like "Lyra in the Hidden City," where the lyre melody, flute line, and general harmony struggle to fit together all at once. I think when writing things like background or dynamic tracks, it's good to focus on one idea at a time, and this concept is actually why I feel like 'Stealth Mode" is one of the stronger tracks in the album. It has a clear melody and groove that it develops on which keeps it interesting to listen to, even if it's one of the more simpler songs in the album. There's nothing wrong with keeping it simple, so don't feel like you have to write the most complex song on the planet.

I really like the scenes you set here! Although tracks flow well song to song, I would like to hear more dynamic contrast and changes in instrumentation within each track. I think more can be done to develop ideas instead of saying everything you want to say all at once from the beginning of the song. Love the concept and storytelling, great job!

Enter a New World: I'd love to know about the 'dynamic' part of this track. How would it change dynamically in-game? Otherwise, it's a solid opening track. I do find the repeating chords to be a little grating after a while--something like a buildup section, with different chords to the main section, can help. You could write a longer loop with more chords, add a B section, etc. and it can add some depth.

Portal to a Hidden World: this is another piece that would have benefitted from a shift away from repetitive chords, though the piano loop is super effective and driving.

Lyra in the Hidden City: I like this folksy guitar instrument--lute?--that you used here. The choir is a bit soft, don't be afraid to bump it up! Gorgeous flute chords though, I like the dissonance. And 10/8 is a fun meter to use!

Boss First Battle: solid boss battle music.

Boss Second Battle: I like this hoe-down in hell vibe a lot. It's a bit goofier, almost to remind you of the whole 'you're a cat' thing... lol

Enter a New World (Post-Destruction): ooh, perhaps this is the 'dynamic' aspect I was curious about before. Next time, don't be afraid to talk more about your process! I'd love to know more about the story behind these tracks. You've got a nice variety of songs here, and some exposition would help link them together into a full, connected piece.

A Tale for the Eons: this is giving final battle energy. Love the drums, though I agree with Jofes that they feel a bit muted dynamically. I have to be honest, there's a section in this one that makes me wanna shake ass in a tavern. I hope you're proud of yourself!

Stealth Mode: loving the guitar in this one--might be my favorite track! The mysterious flute melody is fun. Marimba countermelody is also enjoyable. This one also feels like it could be the track for some kind of cool country song.

This is a significant body of work for one week, well done and keep writing!

These were really cute! I like the variety and style.

I think at times it can feel a little flat. It sounds at times like its being played out of a tape which I'm unsure if it was intentional. Sometimes the dynamics felt too stagnant and the percussion as well being the same sound at times was noticeable, at least to me.

Besides that, like I said I liked the variety and how each song had different combinations of instruments and tempos for a more dynamic listening experience

Very nice work! I’m in love with your composing style, it’s so well done and quite fitting for game about a cat. The variety in the soundtrack is impressive, and every track was a pleasant surprise. Enter a New World had to have been my favorite.

Amazing work!

(1) Love the wierd sounds in this one. Also vibe is immaculate. Great composition and production.

(2) I liked the piano parts a lot. The strings felt a bit robotic which I personally didn't like that much, but it fit the OST

(3)  I like the ambience of it. Great arrangement. The bass is perfectly placed, not too in your face, but a treat when it enters.

(4) Really energetic, but in a way that fits the rest of the OST. Really good groove, and the chord changes are fun.

(5)  I like the groove on this more that on part one. Great composition on this one, really fun to listen to.

(6) great emotional piece with a really moving second half. Again the goofy sounds are really neat.

(7) fun track! love the  synth line halfway throught.

(8) another goofy music. Love the guitar and percussion in it.

Overall your soundtrack sounds really professional and well made : )
