The Biggest Challenge
The idea and concept came together very quickly, but playtesting took the most time. Since this game involves moving around the map, fixing bugs was challenging, as the AI struggled to properly implement the map-clicking interactions.

However, a great breakthrough was being able to trim down the scope to a simple, complete game loop that players can actually finish. It was also a big realization for me that connecting facilities to process ingredients into a factory feels really satisfying—something I'm excited to refine further in the future!

AI Tools Used
WebSim (powered by OpenAI Codex): For coding, implementing game mechanics, and generating SFX (sound effects). Gemini: For Japanese-to-English translation and quick consultations on game context and copy. (Note: Background music was sourced from a royalty-free music site.)

Areas Where AI Was Used
Code: Core game mechanics, map interaction systems, and bug fixing. Sound: Generating SFX (sound effects). Text / Game Content: English translation, UI copy, and concept refining. (Note: BGM and game art were not generated by AI.)

I thought the idea of searching for facilities across a vast map was novel and fun!

It has a nice, heartwarming vibe.

If I had to ask for one thing, it would be great if unlocking facilities required a wider variety of ingredients; that way, deciding the order in which to unlock them would be a fun challenge.

Thanks for clearing and playing the game!

Good point. Opening up/unlocking new facilities was handled pretty carelessly, so the design basically ended up being "if you don't have time, just use potatoes or whatever you gathered before." Thanks for pointing that out!

Right now, building the curry facility is pretty much the only thing to do (and like you said, that facility is already unlocked anyway). I'd like to tweak it so unlocking things feels more exciting and something to look forward to.

First, I'd like to share some observations.

  • There are times when you can't press a panel maybe due to animation timing; this might be intentional, but it's hard to know.
  • When you press the button to make curry, there's no sound feedback, so it's hard to tell if it was pressed successfully.
  • During the final customer's turn, the arrow indicating the customer overlapped with the customer themselves, making it hard to tap.

Also, since the map is so spacious, I thought it would have been nice if, after completing all the customers in the mission, the game had switched to an “endless mode” where customers randomly spawned all over the place—that way, I could have kept playing for a while longer…

Anyway, it was a really fun game. 🙂

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

First off, you're right—it really doesn't feel super responsive. Honestly, I'm not even sure if it's because of the animations or something going on under the hood. For things like the storage, you can't tap it unless at least one item is dispensed, which definitely hurts the UX.

Second, I could've sworn there was audio feedback, but yeah, it's completely silent in the uploaded build. That feels like a bug to me.

Third, totally agree with you—preventing them from overlapping should be an easy fix. I really appreciate you catching such subtle details! I'll definitely get that sorted out.

And thanks for the ideas! An endless mode sounds super fun—I honestly didn't think of that! I originally framed it with a clear ending in mind, but having a wide variety of customers pop up sounds like a blast!

This had like a Wii vibe to it, it felt like to me. The theme page coulda been done up a little more for better presentation. Overall, not a bad game. Took me a minute to work out how it was played, but not bad. Good work.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, true, it might look a bit plain on the surface. Building the facility logic took up so much time that it ended up looking like this.

Thanks for playing!

Lovely, cozy presentation — the soft palette and the "make curry and share it in the park" framing are wonderfully on-theme, and seeing the phase list (Potato → Rice → Carrot → … → Pot, plus the serve-10-guests goal) made the progression instantly readable. Two bits of honest feedback: the map is big enough that dragging around it felt a little unwieldy, and I struggled to figure out how to collect my very first ingredient — a tiny "do this first" nudge or a highlighted starter node would smooth the opening minute a lot. The core collect → make curry → serve loop is a great fit for the theme though. Nice work getting this much system in during the jam!

Developer

So glad the core idea worked!

Yeah, it's definitely confusing at first. I actually thought "Oof, this isn't great" while testing it myself, so thanks for being straight with me!

The map definitely doesn't need to be this huge. I wanted to give a "park exploration" vibe, but I definitely overdid it! Time for some updates.

I really love the concept, I think it's well executed, attractive with great audio design. My only issue I ran into is while the interface was in English, when you click the various built buildings, it's not in English and I don't know what those buttons do. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I assumed clicking a facility would show the English UI—did a screen like the attached screenshot not show up for you? Feel free to let me know whenever you have time!

Either way, the buttons are definitely small and pretty easy to miss. I'll definitely improve that

Developer

screenshot was.

Yes collecting the items are all in english, after you start building more things though the other buildings are not in english.

Developer

Thanks for the screenshot! You're right, that's Japanese, not English. I'll get that fixed! Appreciate it!

It’s really satisfying to watch the potatoes and rice grow automatically! The field may be a little too large for mouse dragging, but overall it has a great atmosphere.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, the map was way too big and annoying to get around. I'm planning to make it smaller and keep things more compact!
