now there’s a premise! loved the 2.5d. movement felt well-designed, and just yeeting them into the vault was very fun. great catgirl designs too. who would nuke these
unfortunately, the game spiked my CPU so bad i barely got >5 FPS, which reduced responsiveness a lot, but apart from that, very nice!
Hi, thanks for the feedback. Did you run it in browser or as an exe file? And can you share what CPU you have? I have a pretty high-end CPU, so I didn't notice anything, I wonder how bad the performance is.
I played it in browser, and my CPU is pretty old: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-Core, so that probably didn’t help - maybe it’s fine for newer ones. I did read that running in browser constrains Godot to single-thread, so it’s extra mean on CPUs - I did have similar issues for other browser-based 3D games.
Love yeeting these cat girls. The controls feel great. The UI in the opening screen is really nice and funny. Super cute and fun submission. I like how the neko girls stand out so much against the more realistic backdrop.
The movement was clean and intuitive, feels very polished for a game jam. The paw icon for interacting is an adorable touch. Played it a couple times because it felt so good navigating the map and throwing them into the bunker.
So fun!
Yelling "MIKU GET IN THE VAULT" was not what I was expecting, but it happened. Despite the lag spikes, cute game!
This game is so fun! Great job with your first GWJ and also as a solo. Besides the things that you mentioned on your page like the lag spikes, the game is pretty smooth. The player movement was fun and responsive, the graphics were beautiful, and the map was fun to roam around in. Picking up and throwing felt intuitive, and having the catgirl return to me after I accidentally threw her on the roof of the bunker was a nice touch lmao. I thought for sure she was gone for good XD
Thanks. There are 10 catgirls and 9 behavior types, so the catgirl you throw was either bound to follow you or bound too follow the spawn point. So you were kind of lucky with this one (for example, the hopping catgirl will jump without moving no matter were she is)
nice concept really unique! good job!!
congrats on first GWJ participation, unique game
It was quite fun and very cute, graphics are really nice, but I felt like something was missing, not sure what
The performance on browser was okay-ish, but yeah, as Psyceric said, lag spikes
And a couple of times the neko in hand clipped in the wall, but that only added to the fun factor, like "She lives there now"
Good job!
Unique, Definitely was better when I downloaded it, some massive lag spikes on browser but I had a similar experience when exporting with compatible. I liked the game, and we had some laughs while I was playing GJ!
This was rly fun! couldn't hear the music but I've had that with a couple submissions so far, could hear the girls though
I love the concept and this was super cute - sadly ran on like 1fps on browser but thats my fault for not downloading
Overall really liked! and super impressive for the team size
