Cute and simple fun. I struggled with the strong zoom and inverted mouse axis but I had fun directing froggy across so many life or death situations.
Thanks @Ranarh glad you found it fun 😊. A few others have made the same comment about the zooming so it's changed but I can only update the game after the jam is over.
Simple and enjoyable gameplay, and of course this water shader is just magical!
Thanks @Les Dremlet for playing! Glad you enjoyed it😊
Really addictive, kept hitting retry. The pike and heron showing up sideways is weirdly charming. Simple and super fun. Clean sounds too.
Thanks for playing @shawdv. Pike and heron wasn't supposed to show up sideways but oh well, had to make do with the jam's time limit🤣
Nice idea, especially the implementation of ripple chain reaction.
I feel like swimming made many levels a bit too easy but otherwise still very fun.
Thanks @farismmk. Yes, the swimming is part of the level design and the idea is to have the pike chase you... maybe it needs a speed up so it's not so easy🤣
I like how the lily pads slide apart when you jump. I almost got eaten by a turtle, but I escaped. 😄
Great job! ❤️
Thanks @Estel. The lily pads are my take on the chain reaction theme. I assumed you survived till the end =)
Sure, but I forgot to take a screenshot of the final results.
I decided to replay it. This time I wasn't as careful, and I got eaten 7 times. 😂
Awesome little game! With more polished levels and a timer for each level with global leaderboard stats, it would be amazing!
Also, a game like this is practically begging for a "Super Meat Boy" style replay mechanic showing all your attempts at once on a successful run.
Once again, great job! ❤️

Super meat boy style replay sounds like a good idea.
As for the timer, I thought of doing it retro arcade style... Like Baron von Blubba in Puzzle Bobble appearing to chase the player after the time limit.
Yes, definitely more levels and leaderboard.
Thanks for the ideas😊
The controls are very simple, but the gameplay is surprisingly addictive — I found myself jumping over and over again. The water surface effects are also really well done.
Thanks for playing @LudiCraft. Glad you liked it. Water effects inspired by Selim Anaç.
Very funny casual game! I tried it on desktop so hard mode, the design is simple but very well executed with a good amount of variety, the cellular water is also well handled and the chain theme is used in an original way, great work!
Thanks for player @TUYAU. I'm assuming you used keyboard? It's a little wonky at this point. I've already reworked it but the jam uploads are currently locked until judging is over. Perhaps there will be more levels in the future since this game has been getting positive comments.
Smooth, minimalistic, cute. I thought I could beat all levels by simply swimming, but then the fish appeared - nice design!
Thanks for playing@paweljarosz. I figured someone would try to swim all the way (which is possible if you push away all the lily pads).
Nice take on Frogger! I played the game on mobile and the timing on how long you could share a leaf with a turtle was a bit tight. I also didn’t know till I messed up that you could swim, you might want to incorporate that in a tutorial.
Thanks for playing @Pigbert. I'll add delay to the turtle and maybe increase the size of the shrinking ring so its more obvious (hopefully). Yes, there's definitely a need for a proper onboarding tutorial.
these turtles are just hillarious XD
love the main jump feature! Looks so simple yet there must be very fitting narrative and overall concept to it. I think you found a very nice and fitting one
Thanks for playing @luckynii. Narrative is simple for the jam: "Just a tiny frog trying to get home." Maybe I'll flesh out a proper narrative after this.
Hopping across the pond felt great once I figured out the controls — the water ripple shader really sells the atmosphere for such a simple scene, and the little squash animation when the frog lands is a nice touch. It took me a moment to realize arrow-key hold was the way to aim distance (I tried clicking/tapping first per the on-screen hint and nothing happened), so a quick visual cue for aim strength could help first-time players. Solid, calming jam entry!
Thanks for playing @TheJoyPlusSoft. Glad you noticed the subtle squash animations too, it's the little things that add to the personality of the game. I agree I need to improve the UX / UI for the aiming as it's not immediately apparent... maybe I need to add a quick tutorial screen showing how the controls work.
Really digged the idea, although the game starts as a puzzle-ish and ends up being more action oriented. Not sure where do you want to go with the idea though, but it could go both ways depending on where do you want to take the hopping mechanic. Nice jam submission!
Thanks @perons for playing. I'm thinking it will probably head towards a puzzle direction with some action. The idea behind the last level is a "boss" level with the heron chasing the frog to add some "excitement".
