It's not clear what the objective is. I figured out I could move pieces and that they matched the flowers at the bottom, but putting them over the matching background flowers does nothing. I can click on the spinning seasons wheel and it gets smaller, but then that doesn't seem to have somewhere it's supposed to go.
I can't right click to inspect the game window itself while the game is running, and inspecting the web page doesn't give me anything that is clearly related to the puzzle. I think you need to workshop this some more. A good puzzle should have a clear solution once you start heading down the right track and not be based on luck. If you want people to utilize the "inspect" tool, which is a cool idea, you need to make sure it's clear what they need to see in the console to move forward.
I can see the game's thumbnail shows something different than what the main gameplay shows, and I *could* go try and make the actual game screen match it, but I don't want to. You've not provided enough context for me to know why I care about breaking out or what I'm trying to break out of. This was more frustrating than anything else.

Thank for your input. You 'Inspect' the page, not the game. This tool shows you output from the game to the Console automatically. When you start moving objects and have 'Inspect' open, you'll get a hint when you're close to solving the puzzle.
Let me show you:
Click anywhere on the page--not on the game window itself-- go to 'Inspect', and then watch for any input when you start moving objects around.

Yes, you're right. I just checked, and Edge seems to be preventing the messages from being output. The counter for the error messages that keeps going up is actually trying to print out a hint, but Edge is suppressing it! I didn't foresee this. That's on me. In the mean time, if you still want to stick with it, when you see the counter going up while moving a cloud, that's where all the clouds need to be.
I'll try to find a way to fix it. I'm sorry for any inconvenience on my part.
Sorry, but I’m not a programmer, so I don’t know how to read the markup in "Inspect" mode—honestly, opening it just made things worse; I couldn’t make heads or tails of it. You’d either need a massive brain for this, or, at the very least, not be a game designer like me.
I honestly don’t get why this puzzle has received so much attention and so many ratings—at first glance, it doesn’t even seem to have any connection to the horror genre.
Then again, I’m such a dimwit that I spent the first five minutes playing *Pong*—before it finally dawned on me that you can actually move the objects around.
I made it so players could try different things in order to solve the puzzle. I wanted them to actually take the time and think, and I succeeded in doing that.
I didn't want you to read the markup in "Inspect mode", but rather to pay attention at what's printed out at the very bottom to the console when you finally discover that you can move things around.
Really interesting concept! the idea that id need to open up the webpage inspector to look for clues is really intriguing. Not sure if I actually solved the puzzle or not but i basically:
Trapped the ball in the bottom portion by arranging the blocks then forced it off screen with the portal.
Do I win if I force the ball out of the window or is that a bug? Was interesting to try to figure out, I like the creativity.
Ok, this is probably the strangest game I’ve played in this jam. When I first launched it I thought it was pure madness. Then I figured out that you can move objects, but that’s about it. After that I just don’t understand what I’m supposed to do. I didn’t find any hints in the element’s code either.
Ok, this is what I got:
I saw an arrangement of clouds in the bottom, i ordered the clouds in the order over their respective figure at the bottom. The spin, I didn't figure out what to make of it, i dragged it to the top where there are yellow paint stains and it looked like some sort of sun.
That's all i could figure. I don't know if it's right or wrong. Either way, interesting and weird entry, i like that.
Cheers.
Oh, I can move the blocks around here, I like it, although I don't really understand what the objective of the game is
I noticed you can drag the clouds. I noticed there were clouds in the background that looked similar to the draggable clouds. And I noticed you can drag the vortex around. But I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to be doing so I made the physics glitch out and pushed the ball out of bounds XD
I did notice you can move the blocks around along with the background clouds that looked identical to the draggable ones, but didn't really figure out if there was anything that came after that.
Neat game! Im saddened to say I couldnt figure out the puzzle, but i dead seal the ball in a prison of clouds which i enjoyed
I like the idea of moving the blocks around in a breakout-like and solving puzzle by doing so.
Interesting game, I managed to push the ball out of bounds, but couldn't exactly figure out if there's something else I needed to do, or this is what the name "BreakOut" refers to :D Also, I don't see anything in the dev-console (I think that was what you meant in the game description). Unique and charming artwork though, it looks like an abstract oil painting.
I lost the egg and the candy galaxy to out of bounds. It was entertaining to watch the egg bounce around but i couldnt figure out how to beat the game.
I love the vibes this game gives out!
Also really cool game concept!
I thought this was a very cool concept. Interested to see where it may go should you continue development.
PS. if you see multiple comments from me. Ignore them. I think a glitch happened where it posted my comment multiple times. I deleted the others but I don't know if you see them or not.
