Thank you! I put my collection of Andrew Lang's Fairy Books of Many Colors to good use. I only regret that I couldn't find good positions for all the bird images I found.

You're welcome! Have fun!

Of course! There should be more available now!

(1 edit)

Thanks for playing! And this is very helpful!

1) Good catch! I'll update the win condition for developers when played solo.

2) I was thinking that the tied strings would be just 1 string, and that yes, with enough successes, the developers can't ever reach their win condition. They aren't playing fair, and as ghosts, neither are you!

3) & 4) Thinking about it, I think I have a way to solve both these issues, but I need to figure out a solo solution as well. (Length of string = number of ghosts that can help you, vs. # of dice. Always roll x dice (x to be determined) and helpers always roll 1. Which... now that I'm typing this out, might work for solo too, as you can have "helpers" without them being physical players... perhaps randomly rolling for what skill those helper ghosts use too, for the fun of the story.)

5) Ha! Random is like that sometimes. Glad the "or choose one" option worked.

Expect an updated version later this week!

Would you like to be credited in it?

No worries! I figured you both had a lot going on with waves hand everything. Housing struggles are no fun.

I've been following your creations for years, in the "lurks in the shadows, observing yet saying nothing" sort of way.

I'm so glad I've finally had the time to get a game into one of your bundles! I suspect I'll be able to participate more often in the future, too.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this.

I have a perfect game to add to this bundle, called Tied to the Land. It's about becoming a ghost tied to a specific location, and if that wasn't bad enough, developers want to move in and change the place, your place, and you don't want that at all.

However, it's an old game of mine I'll need to polish first before putting it up on itch! I'm certain I can do it before September 7th, but I have some deadlines I need to finish for other projects first.

You're welcome!

I've by thinking about making an RPG that can be played during a hike for a while now, and the 58mm RPG Jam finally gave me the perfect medium to distill the idea down into something solid.

Thanks for playing!

There is a win condition, hopefully you'll find it!

Thanks! Glad you found it useful!

Mmm, delightfully creepy, and the perfect length! It's just enough to make you wonder what it's all about.

I'm thinking of creating a collection of 5 random tables, each where you roll 5 times on them to generate something, such as: Incomprehensible Quest Directions where you roll five times to get directions like: With the waning light of the winter sun, turn left past the forgotten memorial, travel west towards the last bastion, circle twice round the ruminating tree, then head into the heartwood. There you'll find what you seek.

Wonderful pastel art, catchy music, and a unique theme.

Clever take on the theme! Love the art style, and how the portrait in the back updates as you progress (which one would expect from The Picture of Dorian Gray!)

Love the vibes of this game! I could easily see myself playing a longer version of this - like going through and tidying up a ghost town, instead of just one house.

The library level was quite difficult compared to the last level, and I would have loved to have a ghostly drain/fatigue bar for knowing how many attacks you have taken.

Nice art! And the music was delightful.

Personally, would have tossed in a bit more story between the waves, so you really feel the agony of not being able to retire as you fight yet another round of heroes. But then, I'm a narrative designer, so I'm always thinking about how to add in more story!

Love this version of Clippy. Definitely picked up on the subtext that there's too much gun violence in schools.

Lovely little game! Solid level design, and the relics nicely change things up as you play.
