I got the gold!

Definitely getting big GB vibes from this. The opening cutscene was cute :)

Yeah for my first side-scroller I'm not upset with how it turned out,  but the combat was by far the most annoying/tricky to code. At least you can jump on everything Mario-style if you want to avoid attacking directly.

The vibe of this game with the red background is immaculate. The combat was smooth though I think the bow has some kind of cooldown? Sometimes it wouldn't work if I started holding the button right after firing. Comparing this to how I handled side-scrolling combat in my game, I could use a few pointers lol. Nice job :)

Cool game! Idk if it's a bug or what but sometimes my boat would just shoot rocks ~4-8 times before moving forward. I could only tell sometimes what was actually happening but the enemy HP was going down so I was doing something right! It would've been helpful to put a little splash text on the bottom that tells the player explicitly what is happening. It was tricky trying to intuit the mechanics with such primitive visuals.

Not usually huge on pinball and was about to give up before I broke through the quantum barrier! It's more like post-pinball at that point, it took me a second to realize the balls propel themselves. Kinda bummed it was so short but that's game jams for you! Nice work.

Player controls felt a little stiff but   very unique concept!

The squash and stretch of the animations made the game feel so good! Some wacky collision stuff aside, very cool!
