Do it!!! Also, happy to help/give advice

This is really cool. My first exposure to the LittleJS engine. Well done

Cool little survivor-like. Text was a bit weird for me too. But well done.

This is really cool. What the proc gen at work is a really nice touch. Great game. The ghost jump scared me.

Really awesome sound track. Fun gameplay. Wish there was a web build but well done.

Couldn't play this game - no executable. Web build please. Also put some effort into your game page :).

Really well done on your first game jam. Very impressed with what you achieved. Great job!!!

I really dig this. I love the SIMPLE series and this was a cool use of it - well done.

Well done on a polished title. I wish it was available as a web build though. It's a very fun speed running game.

Cool little RPG game. Awesome that you can choose classes.  Seems a bit unoptimized - I turned shadows on and it started to lag on a 5070. But well done on your submission.

Cool music and animations. This should really be a Web Build so that there's more engagement. But well done.

Interesting concept. This is the first Unreal game that I've played in the jam. Well done

Cool concept. I think the combat could use a little work and a web build would make it more accessible. But well done!!!

This is really cool. I like the interactions etc. I think it would do better if there was a browser build. Also it does feel like you've made a level out of the demo scene, nonetheless, a ton of effort has gone into this. Really well done

Well done dude.  You managed to achieve a lot during the jam.

Thanks for the feedback. The PSX style renderer I included to give it a bit of a different look is not for everyone. Next time, I'll include an option to turn it off.

Thanks for the feedback. With the level being generated every time I've seen some people run into the monster so many times and others not at all. I guess I can tweak the proc gen parameters for a more curated feel.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. It was definitely an esthetic choice - I wrote a custom render pipeline to give it a PSX look with dithering, vignette etc

Excellent :)

Thanks for the video and for playing my game

Thanks for the support \m/

Thanks for giving it a good.

Thanks for playing Nick

Haha... I'm glad you guys got frights

Well done Willie. I'm impressed with how much you were able to do.

Yeah it's a simple horror experience made for the Synty Spooky Jam 2024. You press space to interact (close lift, turn on lights etc). I wanted to add more interactions but ran out of time because I focused on the scares. The whole game is less than 10 minutes but I really wanted to focus on the atmosphere.

Thanks for the feedback - I'll consider it for the post game jam version.

Thanks so much Ray

Great use of animations. I liked your ideas around twitch integration. Only down side is that the player's attacks feel nerfed... and as such not as impactful as I'd like. I'd love for the player to be a bad ass, that one shots most enemies.

I love the skeleton being shown when the player wasn't visible. Interesting setting. Camera usage made me think of resident evil. Well done!

The use of WFC for procedural generation was really cool. Well done on an interesting game. Good job

Really good use of the Synty assets. Enjoyed your use of post processing when the player is attacked. Great environment. An eerie soundtrack or even the sounds of wildlife (crickets etc) would add so much to the vibe.

Congrats on releasing your first project - well done :)

Are you able to upload a WebGL version? Windows Defender did not like the download... it's probably a false positive but gotta be sure!

This is a really well made and polished game. I'm surprised by the scope of the content included. Well done! The only thing I'd fix is the fact that Zombies can still attack you while you are talking to NPCs and while you're in the Inventory.
Overall, great job!!!

Fantastic music. I do like the throwback to the horror villain names. The game loop and how the story telling elements are a nice touch. The only improvement I'd make is to the jump scares - they need audio to sell them (sting and attack sound). Otherwise, fantastic job. Well Done!

thanks so much for the positive feedback. I have a couple ideas on how to expand this. I think it would work really well in VR and with a grittier art style. Also some procedural elements would be cool.

Thanks so much for playing my game.

Hi where isn't it working? where are you trying to play it.

Thank you ;)

thanks so much
