Hey! Sorry it took me so long to get the fixes done, I literally just finished them. If you don't mind, could you check if the minigames are easier to understand now, and if the tutorial and player feedback turned out alright? Thanks in advance!

As for the visual style, I was inspired by illustrations from old sci-fi books. They had a similar style.

I really like the look and feel of your game. The graphics, sound design, and atmosphere you've managed to create in such a small game are all excellent! The only thing I found a little awkward was the controls. I'd suggest adding arrow key support alongside WASD, so players can choose whichever layout feels more comfortable. Having to keep holding W while repeatedly reaching for the spacebar felt a bit awkward. Other than that, you've made a really enjoyable little game! :)

Thank you, that makes sense! I'll start working on the fixes and the tutorial today. I'll make the first fight a tutorial with a detailed visual explanation of each stage, and add an aggression meter in the first phase to show how many times the minigame needs to be completed, plus a boss HP bar in the second phase. And special thanks for suggesting a visual indicator for success! Until now I only had a sound effect, and it clearly wasn't enough.

Thanks for the feedback! :) If it's not too much trouble, could you tell me whether the problems were only with the more complex monsters, or with the simple ones too? I've tested the build for a full playthrough several times and everything seemed to work fine, so I'm a bit torn: should I lower the difficulty by removing the "feints" and slowing down the ring, or is the real issue the lack of a proper UI and unclear tutorial?

Thank you so much for playing and for the review! I totally agree: the lack of a proper combat tutorial and clear explanations is one of the game's weakest points right now. I've added a short guide to the game page, but I know that's not enough. I'm planning to make some of the hidden UI bars visible and add a dedicated tutorial battle that walks you through everything step by step. The idea was to take simple mechanics and make them interesting, but I overcomplicated things and they ended up less intuitive than I wanted. Thanks again for the feedback! :)

Excellent game, great visual effects, a very creative take on the jam theme, and fantastic atmosphere! There are just a couple of minor things I'd like to point out in case you decide to keep working on the game. I'd love to see an idle animation for the character when standing still, and there seem to be some collision issues around the barrels. Overall, you've made a really strong project!

Hi! You did a good job implementing the mechanics, and the game is quite fun to play. The only thing I'd suggest is adding collision to the cable as well. It feels a bit strange when it passes through platforms while the crane's grabber itself can't. Either way, you made a good and enjoyable game! :)

I played your game, and you chose a pretty addictive core mechanic. However, there are a few things that could be improved. I'd suggest making the first sonar upgrade available from the very beginning. Seeing an empty sea with no visible trash is a bit confusing at first. It would also be nice to add a little more movement and feedback. For example, flipping the boat when moving left, keeping the sea's edge in subtle but constant motion, and adding a small effect when the player hooks some trash would make the game feel much more alive. These small changes could make a noticeable difference to the overall feel of the game.

You made a very small but cute game. It could really use at least some basic sound effects, though. Still, it turned out to be a pretty nice little short!

Thank you for the kind words!

The main character's model turned out pretty funny :)
He's quite memorable.

You made a fun game. I liked the idea of upgrading the plane

Tnx so much!

You made a good game with a cool visual style and excellent sound design. I did notice some performance issues here and there, and the game occasionally stuttered, but it was still perfectly playable. Good luck, and I wish you all the best with your future projects

You have the foundation for what could become a really great game. I genuinely enjoyed the art style and the music - they both feel like they were made and chosen with a lot of care. I also wanted to point out a few small things that caught my attention. Please don't take this the wrong way - these are just a few minor details that I think are worth looking at.

The first one is the fish shadow while you're fishing. When the fish changes direction, its shadow doesn't flip, so it ends up swimming tail-first. It seems like a tiny detail, but it actually makes the fishing feel a bit stiff. Simply flipping the shadow sprite when the fish turns would make the animation look much more natural.

Another thing is the patch with the cross on the backpack. I kept instinctively thinking it was the button to leave the scene. At one point I even thought the game had bugged out until I accidentally clicked the tag instead. The actual tag blends into the background quite a bit, while the cross patch immediately draws your attention, so it's easy to mistake it for an interactive button.

Buttons like "Start Sift" also feel a little too small and blend into the background, which makes them easy to overlook. The hover effect helps because they darken when you move the mouse over them, but I'd still suggest making them stand out a bit more.

Alright, I won't bore you with any more tiny details :) Good luck, and I wish you the best with this awesome game

Thank you so much for the feedback! It's really helpful. I'll look into what's actually breaking when the game is launched in fullscreen through itch.io. And of course, I'm really glad you enjoyed the game! I'll definitely play your game today or tomorrow and do my best to leave you some helpful feedback as well. :)

Thanks for the kind words. Of course, I'll check out your game. Good luck to you too

Are you launching the game on your phone? I disabled mobile support because I didn't have time to add a joystick for character movement. If you're on a computer, could you tell me which browser you're using? I just tested it in Chrome, and everything works fine. Thanks for reporting the issue!

You’ve made a really addictive game. It’s just missing some music and sound effects, but I still had a great time! :)

Unfortunately, not anytime soon. Right now, I'm doing a marathon: making 6 jam games, one game per month. Each one is in a new genre to help me improve my skills. Once I'm done, I'll pick my favorite project and turn it into a full game. So I can't promise anything just yet. But thank you again for your interest in the project. Comments like this really motivate me to keep creating games! :)

You’ve made a pretty enjoyable puzzle game. I’d suggest adding an option to speed up or slow down the plane, as waiting for it to reach the right block took a bit too long sometimes :)

You’ve made a great game. Flight simulators aren't really my genre, so I found it hard to dogfight the enemies. But it’s clear you put your heart and soul into developing this game. Good luck on your future creative journey :)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

I’m glad you enjoyed it! Right now, the plan is to expand Echo’s reactions to the player’s messages, making the consequences more tangible and the replayability more engaging. It’s a bit of a pity that the project was made for a jam, because the original concept was much larger. The idea was that the player would spend a week interacting with and raising Echo, with the outcome shaping not only Echo’s future but also the fate of the world. The setting was envisioned as cyberpunk, with a conflict against the corporation that created Echo.

I built a mobile version in .apk format — it’s available for download on the game’s page. I tested it on my phone, and it works fine. The visual novel is still very small, but I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Thank you so much for rating my project so highly!

Thanks for your interest in the project! Would you prefer an .exe version for PC, or a mobile build? Right now the VN isn’t really adapted for mobile devices, but I could try to make that happen.

I understood the main idea of the controls, and that’s how I was actually playing. But when other objects appear on the stage - balls, platforms - the cocoon often crashes into them while flying from below. After these collisions, strange things happened. Sometimes the cocoon stuck tightly to a ball if the ball was smaller in size (I mean the mechanic of the cocoon growing larger), or it bounced off in a completely chaotic trajectory, with no way to control it. Although, maybe it was because I was using Firefox - as I understood, there were some issues with that browser.

Cool idea with the slingshot - the mechanic has real potential. The graphics and menu look nice and polished. The only thing is that the cocoon’s interaction with objects sometimes feels odd: it either sticks with no chance to detach, or bounces away. My funniest death happened when a spider and a ball trapped the cocoon and played “paintball” with it, ending fatally. Overall, the game looks fun - good luck with further development!

Thank you for such a detailed review! The chat layout definitely needs some polishing.

As for the gameplay: each reply in the chat increases one of three counters - Aggression, Neutrality, or Loyalty. After 10 messages, the player is directed into one of three final dialogue branches with the AI, and the ending is determined by whichever counter is highest. In the future, I plan to add more branching and some visual cues, like coloring the buttons depending on which counter they affect.

The chat icon on the phone screen already has a hover effect, but it seems too subtle - I’ll make it more noticeable. Regarding interactivity, I’m still thinking about it. This is meant to be a short visual novel focused on the vibe of a single conversation at a critical moment, and I don’t want to lose that atmosphere.

Your game turned out visually both cute and a little strange - I liked it! One thing I think could improve the experience is some kind of overarching goal. In games of this type, having a clear motivation, along with occasional reminders of it, is really important to keep the player’s attention.

You made a fun game! I enjoyed it. The only suggestion I have is some kind of indication before the coconut goes out of control. For example, a second before, its sprite could start vibrating, or slightly change to a red tint, or its facial expression could shift. That would make it feel fairer to the player, in my opinion. Anyway, I wish you success going forward!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

You're absolutely right about the lack of choice variety - that's something I plan to work on when I continue improving the game after the jam. And thank you for finding and pointing out the bug with the ending text speed!

I'll definitely play your game today and leave a comment as well:)

You’ve made a fun game. A strategy where the units don’t always obey the player is quite a cool idea :)

This is a very impressive game. You used the possibilities of AI to the fullest :)

You made a simple but addictive game. The only issue is that because of the arrow key controls, my screen kept scrolling up and down. If you make more games in this genre, I’d recommend assigning movement to W/A/S/D instead. Anyway, I wish you success in your future creative projects :)

Thanks for trying! If it’s not too much trouble, could you try one more time? If it still doesn’t launch, please tell me the name of your browser so I can fix this issue. In the meantime, I’ll play your game :)

Could you tell me what exactly didn’t work or what was confusing? I’ll also be playing all the jam games and leaving feedback over the next day or two.

Thanks for the kind words! I would've liked to add more variation instead of simply splitting the dialogue into three small branches in the final third of the game and three different endings. But I decided not to overcomplicate things.

This game has a really beautiful and atmospheric visual style. The overall vibe feels very pleasant and memorable:) You did a great job.
