This was pretty cool. I liked how the boss got more and more abilities as you progressed (might be a bit too difficult for me) and it felt pretty polished.

This felt pretty solid all around. It was pretty annoying finding out that the instructions were in a different text file though, and I would have hoped to see the other bosses more instead of having the same boss appear several times over and over again. 

The mechanics did feel a bit unclear at first and the second boss was a bit too strong (though that might be a skill issue) but the story and graphics were pretty cool.

The gameplay wasn't really all that fun imo due to it being pretty repetitive and unforgiving. Maybe some checkpoints or extra lives would have made this more enjoyable. The graphics and music were hype though.

It would have been cool to see like a health bar or multiple bosses but I get that it might have been tough with the time constraints. I thought this was a pretty cool idea honestly and it has some serious potential if you had more time.

Yeah the visuals are pretty basic but thats what happens when you do this solo lol

The lack of a heads up on what the items did definitely wasn't intended, I mostly assumed that they could kinda figure it out. I hope that I can make some changes so that the player at least knows what the items do

I got some feedback on my game and I was wondering if minor QOL changes were allowed like bug-fixes or improving the gameplay slightly, I don’t intend on adding anything that significantly changes the way my game is played

Thanks for the suggestions! I kinda rushed this last minute so I didn't have time to properly playtest, but if I have time after the jam is over I'd totally consider adding this. 

The rules say they're allowed, just make sure you can legally use them

yeah, just as long as only two colors are on screen you should be able to switch between them

from what i know, not 100% sure, there can only be two colors on screen at a time

my understanding is that you can use any color (not just black and white) as long as only two are on screen

so yeah, the ui has to be the same color as everything else as far as i know

the bass was epic asf!
