How long was your dev time?
"Let's use 3D models," I thought. "How hard can it be?" I thought... 8-10 hours later and I have a game. Just slightly over the 3-hour limit... Still, at least I have a reusable Flora 3D asset now. Please take this time into account and score this submission lower appropriately.

A good effort, and sometimes you need to go over 3 hours to deliver a reasonable and fun experience. Like others have mentioned, I found running animation needs more work.

Very ambitious. The end result was worth it though. Nice job.

The last book gave me a lot of trouble! Even in 10 hours, the result is impressive and the dungeon is fun and interesting to explore. Awesome work!

My only nitpick is with the running animation: maybe it's the way the arms move but to me it looks more like a ghoul than a young woman that's running. If you animated your model with a tool like Mixamo, fixing this will be trivial, but if you created the animation yourself in those 8-10 hours, I'd say it's even more impressive work.

In short, cool game, I hope you can make more 3d stuff in the future because this is promising!

Developer

Yeah, I know what you mean about the running animation. I used Mixamo for the animations, but the problem is the dungeon tiles are really uneven so she keeps momentarily switching to the falling animation. I'll see if I can improve it for the next one though. Thanks for the feedback!

Full 3D? With fancy camera shenanigans? And free movement in the 3D space? And a custom 3D model? In three hours? Brave.

Developer

Yeah, and completely failed in 3 hours! Future jams should hopefully be possible in 3 hours though if I reuse the Flora prefab.

I won! The stylized lighting is really nice. I thought this was really solid given the time constraints (even considering the amount you went over)

3d is tough, the models are really nicely implemented and though the camera felt wobbly at times, its far from bad and for a single day's work, its a good 3d exploration game.

More power to your for attempting a 3D game.  I ran into a lot of getting stuck in stairs and the camera just randomly whipping around making it hard to navigate.  But the premise is pretty cool.
