Hey Bison Hat!

This was awesome!  It's surprisingly cinematic and gives me very mild flashbacks to Gondor lighting the beacons while my little sapling is moving around the city.  Visuals and audio are on point; I was not expecting the music change halfway through (? - I haven't beaten it yet).

Loved this game! This is a very peaceful game and the overall concept is very fun!

Good game. A little too difficult for me. But great concept. Keep making games!

What a unique idea and use of the theme! The music and visuals really helped sell it to me. Keep up the good work!

This is really really really cool!
The visuals, the music, the way you slowly guide yourself towards the next pot fits so well!

That was such a relaxing and fun game I would LOVE to see fleshed out into a full-game.

Felt very a very good foundation for a atmospheric game like Abzu or Lifeslide.

Maybe make the extra wind-sources more consistent in direction and speed as sometimes they wouldn't push me far enough unless I angled it properly and was slow enough to benefit from the gust.

One of the most unique entries I've seen in the jam, with great visuals and soundtrack that really evelate the experience. Movement felt a bit rough at times but it's a minor inconvenience.

Great work overall!

Really unique game, and it's soundtrack really brought it to life, great work.

Nice and original game!! Love how intense the music gets when the storm starts!!

A very beautiful cosy game.  It's highly creative and fits the theme perfectly.  The camera work is excellent, which is rare.  The music is brilliant.  Could have been more sound effects, but it's understandable if it got in the way of the music.

I did find the controls a bit tricky.  It was hard to guide the seed to where you wanted, especially when the game needed required precision movement.

An amazing entry!

I really like this game and played through it all. It's fun and unique, great job! The tree growing animation looks great and the guidance trail was nicely done and easy to understand. The cars driving around on the street were a nice detail as well, and I liked the atmosphere and music change half way too. I see a lot of potential for a more polished version of this, but for me, the mechanics in it's current state are holding it back. Here's what I mean.

I spent the first half of my experience trying to carefully maneuver the seed through the level and land in the pots. When I wanted more control or a shorter distance, I was producing smaller gusts of wind while looking down, so I could figure out my landing position. It turns out looking down makes the wind go straight down, so I was speeding my descent without moving forward at all. An explanation or more visual feedback of this mechanic would go a long way. I had a lot more fun after figuring it out! Personally, I think it would be an improvement to disconnect the wind's movement from the camera movement after it's released and have it locked to horizontal only, then make the seed gently drift in the direction the camera is facing, allowing smaller adjustments (such as aiming for the pots or correcting back after a strong gust).

Other minor things, the UI prompt at the start of the game was quite small (and covered by my taskbar) and a restart key would be nice, in case I run out of wind energy. I do think the vents could be more forgiving since they were a bit unintuitive to hit (I thought I was in the stream multiple times but didn't get much boost).

This was intended as constructive criticism (since I believe you were looking for some?) so I hope it helps!

This is great, I have spent the most time on this game :D The camera would be nice to allow more upward view, to check where the next air vents and pots are. I got lost in the thunderstorm though, I didn't have enough "wind energy" to to get to any third vent.

Wow, this is really a stand out in the jam! The pace/music manage to make this emotionally gripping. I was sad when my seed finally landed on the street. I really appreciated the intro as well. I only wish there were more height boosters to add some forgiveness when you can't find the next pot. Nice work!

Visual Music and presentation are super well done. The concept give you endless ideas. Congrats! 👌

The first thing I noticed was just how incredible the music was in this one! Very powerful and really supports the main idea of the game. Love the idea too, very unique. Good job!

Such a unique and poetic mechanic. I love your take on the theme. It definitely makes me think of a mechanic you could find in some It takes two gardening time. I loved the music too. Gameplay was surprisingly good too. Good length too as I finished the game. Very nice entry for this jam !. One I would remember at least :)

Graphics. Wow. Amazing. Needed a restart button for me. I had to restart it once to get the hang of it. I am glad I got to beat at least a few levels! :) Hitting the pot is super satisfying. But missing hurts too!

Indeed, indeed! I had a smile on my face while reading your itch page :) Really good world-building and the cutscenes of the tree growing was such a nice touch. I also wanted to have such a cutscene at the very end, but ran out of time unfortunately. A few constructive criticisms though:

1. The camera was being weird. I couldn't look up and if I look down, it sometimes got inverted.

2. The golden trail doesn't appear at first. In the first level, I searched for a 'golden trail' and couldn't find one, and then I died, but once I respawned, there it was right in front of me! I think it takes time (too much time) to actually form?

Heard! Thanks for the notes!  And thanks for playing.  The camera locked at a downward angle was intentional ( not inversion though oops  ), but I have had a few people now seem to want more freedom.  I was thinking pov: you seed you see down.  :)  I might change it though.  Its only one line of code clamping the camera.  As for the trail, ya, the coordination on all the levels still has some issues that need ironed out, and the initial launch of the trails is one of them. Thank you for your detailed feedback!   And I'm glad we got to jam together

An incredibly pretty and atmospheric game, loved the music especially. The way that the design of each section builds on the previous is really cool, even if sometimes it feels a little tricky to control. The intro cinematic did a lot for making the world feel appropriately scaled and cool. Overall really good work here, has some proper gravitas to it.
