Yeah, that office and people in it inspired such dread in me that I wanted to stop playing just to get away from it. Chose to not get caught by managers and turned down virtually everybody. Went for a second play to help Helen and Marv. Only ended up helping Helen, and could not figure what to do with Marv. Still, it gave a better ending and it felt like a good point to stop. Haven't even seen the managers and truth be told feels like I'll be better off like that.
Some voice acting felt intentionally annoying. Visuals and overall atmosphere were on point. Great gob!
Really good game, you captured the style of a visual novel so well. Everything was super polished. The art style and voice acting were all top tier. Great writing and concept too, also really well designed characters; my favourites were Marv and Helen. When you get caught by the boss it had a really imposing character design and voicework which I think was cool. The ending was kind of depressing but I guess it reflects reality lol. Also the background music was great.
I think the task on the computer had the music a bit too loud plus it felt a bit out of place when you compare the style of the visuals and music. The task where you organise files alphabetically wasn't really explained, so it was hard to know what to do at first. And then sometimes the voice acting would switch which side of the headphones it's majorly heard in, so changing that would be great. Overall it's such a unique game and I've not seen a proper visual novel submitted before so good job on getting it done!
Thank you for the kind words and glad you enjoyed it! This was our teams first project so we're super thankful for the constructive feedback, hopefully you'll enjoy our next project even more.
This being your team's first project is really surprising! Great job!
Really fun! The dialogue and voice acting had me cracking up. Spencer is a creep :| lol
So glad our stupid bits get across lol, glad you liked it :)
Fun visual novel game with simple mini games. I love the art style. It was cool meeting all the different characters and hearing their voice acting. I think I got the good ending where I never ran into the 2 people I was avoiding and I got to go on my vacation and write my book. Fantastic job!
Oh thank you so much! We were really proud of the work we put in for the characters and the world, and we're so glad you enjoyed it too. Congrats on getting the good ending-!
Making a game with dub in a Game Jam with different Minigames? This is crazy. Incredible work, perfect narrative, over perfect dubbing, every characters voice is amazing, gameplay is great, art design is one of the best I ever seen in this jam so what can I say to this game? It is perfect
Oh wow, thank you for the kind words. It was definitely a lot of work to put in for a four day jam, and we're just glad you connected with it. Personally, as the artist, I'm so grateful to hear that about my work. Thank you again for playing.
Very impressive submission. I'm a chronic overworker, so the narrative hit like a truck for me, and it was fantastically well-supported by the presentation (especially the art and VA work). And the minigames where you perform these pointless corporate tasks were just the cherry on top. Good job!
So glad you enjoyed it! Our whole team definitely related to that chronic overworking by the end of this jam too, and hearing that you connected to it really makes all that work feel worth it. Thanks for playing
really love the art and how the game is focused on narrative too which a lot of the games lack . polished too . really good game!
Yeah, the art and narrative was absolutely what we wanted to shine with this game and we're glad it shows. Thank you
Love the narrative, and how there are multiple options you can choose! Awesome artwork too :)
Aw thank you, we're glad you enjoyed it
I love the art and character designs!! theyre so fun and feel very fitting to each character, the voice acting and and story are great and the mini games are very charming!!
Thank you so much!! So glad you enjoyed
That was great, though I don't think I got the good ending (may have tried to help too many people)! Everything was great and felt polished for this game. I don't think there is even anything I would change besides maybe some little bit of instructions on the top for each mini-game (I either missed or didn't see what to do for the folder game first time I did it). Great job!
Thank you for playing! Sorry you didn't get the good ending! We'll be sure to include more instructions and make the mini-games more polished in the future! Thank you for the input! Glad you enjoyed the game!
Playing this a day after I got my summer vacations approved, I hope it's not an omen...
Pretty good artwork and an enjoyable (but sadly realistic) sense of humor.
Thank you for playing! Glad you loved the art and humor. Hopefully you don't end up with a bad ending and get to go on your vacation!
Nice! I enjoyed this very much and the art style is so close to favorite cartoons from the 1950s. Great job. Ironically, I played this at work lol
Thank you for playing our game! That was exactly what we were going for! As long as you don't get caught by your manager Spencer or Horville, play it wherever you want! <3

Such a great concept for this jam. Really well done on the narrative and voice work. I love how it all comes together and can tell y’all loved making it! I like the idea of mini games tied in and I think if you finessed those it would be a lot of fun. As is I loved the story side of it most!
Thank you very much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it! We really did love the way the game turned out, especially since it was our first one! We hope to polish and make the minigames better in the future, for sure!
This was really fun to play and far too relatable. Having taken time off of my corporate job to participate in the game jam makes this hit even harder. Props to the team, all aspects hit really well and I love the take on the theme. Well done!
Aw we're so glad you were able to connect with it, and of course thank you for playing <3
it’s always charming when teams choose to voice act their own games, the project has a lot of soul and a well executed on idea :)
really enjoyed the music, props to whoever made it
very well done, keep it up! <3
Thats so sweet of you to say, and thank you for taking the time to play <3
Very good voice acting and well written. I really viscerally disliked quite a few of the characters! I hope that was the intent! The art was also really nice. The game was perhaps a bit in the long side (clocking in at 30 minutes to reach the end) for a jam game and my preference, especially when it doesn’t mix it up more in the game play. I did not for the life of me understand the interactions in the coffee game and the name sorting was a bit too repetitive. Maybe I was unlucky in getting three in a row, but it made me inclined not to want to help my co-workers out, rather than having story reason not to want to do it.
Overall though I liked the game and as I said very good voice acting, well written and good looking art!
Play-through:
Thanks so much for playing the game! Glad you liked it! This is our first game & game jam, so we'll definitely take your suggestions into mind in the future! We'll aim to make the mini-games more varied and interesting, too! Thank you!
The visuals, the story, the voice acting. This game was really good! The artstyle is so cool! Loved it!
Thanks so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed! We loved your game as well!
I dont usually play visual novels but I really enjoyed this one, and the artwork was amazing. The voice lines were also good
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed this, even if you don't play visual novels!
Worked myself to death trying to keep busy to fool the managers. Oops! It's a very ambitious project; I think the narrative side is really good, but the game side could have used a little more TLC. I got the folder alphabetizing minigame several times in a row with the exact same names - even just a little variety with having the game pick 8 names out of 26 would have made that feel less like a chore and more like a fun activity. Overall I really respect the amount of work that was done here, though - you got a ton done, and the art/characters/voices all really make the narrative aspect shine.
Thank you very much! We're glad you enjoyed it! This is our first game jam & game, so we're learning as we go! We'll be sure to add more variety and polish to the mini-games in the future, for sure! Hopefully you didn't get caught! Thanks for playing!
