awesomeee game the microgames are simple yet fun and the music really keeps the energy up!!!! i love the artstyle too this really feels like a ds game and i mean that in the best possible way!!!!

The game has absolutely fantastic artwork and sound. The mini-games were fun to play and so the controls tips for them, in my opinion, were done at the highest level.

As a devoted fan of WarioWare, you’ve completely won me over. What a delightful game! everything feels so satisfying. The music blows me away, it’s wonderful.

One of the best entries I’ve tried in this jam by far. Congrats and keep up the good work!!

Absolutely loved the artwork! The minigames were fun and unique, and the Game was very polished. very underrated Game 5\5!

Fun and unique experience, the mini games are well thought out and put together, they are fast and frantic, and the visuals and sound effects compliment those feelings really well, great experience with a nice little story to follow along, great job!

Very fun experience! Definitely among the ones I like most this year! The art is nice, there's story, the theme is applied with every minigame being very quick and keeping you alert and the gameplay is enjoyable! It has BASICALLY everything it should. The only thing I wish the game had that it doesn't is a fullscreen mode

noted for full version! thanks

The art, music, and sounds were all perfect. The diversity of the minigames was great too.

The pixel art is stunning. Dave the diver level stunning and the mini games remind me of Dumb ways to die. This was a very good game. I enjoyed every second of it :D Thank you for making this :)

Developer

You guys did an amazing job with this and nailed the WarioWare feel 100%! Great opening to set the scene and banging soundtrack,  that stock chart on the menu screen too haha and for me the mini games had just the right feel!
I noticed you even added an icon for the export which was a nice touch!
Btw I noticed you developed in Godot and made an executable game, I think to ensure a good audio sync? you could also try doing a html5 export next time anyway as it's easier for people to get an initial test of the game and then download the exe version for better performance. I really wish that more people can give this a go, it's heaps of fun!

Developer(+1)

thank you so much! we actually did export a web build and it was available for the first few hours but we hid it after testing it due to some visual bugs. we will find a fix for a postjam version so that its playable on browser for sure

Loved the wario ware like game. The vibes were amazing and the minigames were great. Some of the "knowing exactly what to do" was a bit challenging at first, but once I understood things it was a lot of fun!

This game is great! A lot of chaos involved in it lol. The minigames are pretty fun and really cool. The music matched up with the game really well too. Good luck in the jam!

I loved the game! I never played wario ware, but now I might give it a chance, what a fun experience. It's fast, caotic and incredible. The graphics are awosome, the music and sound effects are cool and the minigames are a lot of fun. I even dare to say the game made me feel slightly nostalgic for some reason.

check the series out for sure! its basically this but much better haha, thanks for the review

The use of the theme here felt a little weak, but aside from that I really liked it. The narrative context given by the intro cutscene made the game feel more rewarding to play, even if it was just a vibes thing. The music is catchy, especially the jingles after failing or not failing a task. The artstyle was charming, and the occasional use of realistic looking objects was funny. Overall, everything felt really cohesive.

I did have some issues though:

  • It's not always immediately clear how to perform certain tasks, especially some of the ones in the second stage.
  • Not sure if it's a skill issue, but the overheating task seems impossible to do.
  • I think there might be a bug in the lens taping task? It always seems to say "task accomplished unsuccessfully" whether I tape the lens or not.

Regardless, this game was very cool. Good job.

thank you so much!

about the issues you had, 1. this is true haha it all seemed obvious to us but after seeing other people play it i completely understand not getting some of em on the first try, we should've asked someone to do a quick playtest to make sure. 2. i think the problem might be that youre trying to heat it up using the up and down arrow keys, when it only works with the right and left ones, we shouldve made the controls icon only right and left instead of all 4 directions to avoid confusion. 3. ur totally right again lol i completely missed that, will be fixed in postjam version, thanks for letting me know

Thanks for the feedback! Addressing the specific points: about the first one, could you specify which games specifically you found unintuitive? It’s true we didn’t do much external playtesting, so as devs we just knew how each game worked and it would be useful to know what it feels like for someone playing for the first time. Overheating is meant to just be press right arrow on each knob (left arrow works but it’s useless). Lens taping has the bug you mentioned, we were just a little short on time to get that fixed

For the games I had trouble understanding at first:

  • It took me a good moment to realize what you're supposed to do for the for the lens taping minigame, although part of that confusion was just the bug giving me mixed signals on whether I did what I had to or not.
  • It took me a couple of tries to realize that in the pizza cutting minigame your cuts have to start from outside the pizza. I kept starting my cuts from inside it, and was initially confused as to why it wasn't doing anything.
  • I was at first thinking that the price lowering minigame required me to hold down the mouse button and drag over the prices, rather than just clicking the price tags.

Also, the time limit indicator at the bottom of the screen made things a bit confusing for me visually because it almost looks like it's an interactable part of the minigames. The second stage's indicator in particular felt pretty distracting. The annoy the customer minigame also has one of the dialogue options partially covered up by the indicator, although this doesn't impede winning much particularly.

For overheating, I only just now realized that I was supposed to hold the right arrow rather than do individual presses. Might be bad for that one.

Down with capitalism! Happy they don't get to make slop anymore. The art style is super catchy and the whole game in general is nicely packaged. Some minigames are just hard to understand. Congratz!

Down with Yummy Corp! As someone who also made a WarioWare game, it's great seeing other people's takes on it

Submitted(+2)

This is so cool!! The music fits perfectly

This is incredible. I love wario ware type games and this is perfect. I don't even know how to give propper feedback. Maybe add some informations on your page it was a bit confusing at first.

This is fire

This was such a funny game!! I hope your game gets more traction because it's so well made. This is so nostalgic of wario ware with some nice humour. Great work :)
