The candles are one of coolest replacements for standard timers I've seen in this jam. Very good game, but please, optimise it a bit, it was crashing a lot to me.

Such a cool concept, very satisfying when you get the right combination to exorcise a demon! Would love to see this built upon post jam, some navigation was a bit tricky to work out, I sometimes opened the book or looked at the shelf when I didn't mean to, but just small nitpicks really, overall really awesome work!
Strong game! Really liked the polish and the visuals, especially the shadows of the spirits.
My biggest complaint is navigating around lol. I keep on trying to press my book, and also accidentally looking at the shelf when I try to turn a page back. The hit boxes for the clicking stuff do feel a little off for me? It might just be because my monitor is 16:10 instead of 16:9? Just a guess, i'm unsure!
I think the game has a lot of great potential, and I would love to see you take it further! Really good work :)
I really like your take on this idea!! I feel like this game could be fleshed out to something so complete! Also the puzzle aspect was really good, did you come up with the names yourself?
Also feel free to check out mine!
A really cool interpretation of the game! The game is a bit tough because you kind of "have to" randomly lose at least one life, which might feel a bit unfair?
Strong presentation and great job on the art nonetheless!
Congratulations for that one, I definitely enjoyed it eheh
Fun take on the countdown and overall very creative game! I just wish there was a bit more work on the balancing, since right now you lose a bit too much health and regain too little to be able to go through all the demons in one run in my opinion. I also think it'd be cool if you'd be able to interact with the table in the book to cross out things. Enjoyed my time though and I really liked the art for the demons!
really unique and haven't seen something else like this so far in my jam game play throughs! it was a bit difficult to understand how to begin I would say but once I got the hang of it this was really well done and loved the art and style you all had throughout. well done on a unique concept and fun game all around though, felt really polished for a 4 day jam as well!
I'm so glad i read the info on the page, otherwise i would be completly stuck on selecting doubles 😭. Really nice concept and a fun way to train logic a little :>
Wow! Excellent mood on this one, which I'd come up with something like this! The demons look very cool, a little extra feedback on you loosing your candles would have been cool but over all one of the best entries!
One of the most creative ideas I've seen in the jam, it's like a demonic version of Strange Horticulture. The game has a lot of potential, although it's held back by being a bit too confusing and also harsh when making a mistake. Understandable since the jam is a very short time. If you polish it a bit more, you can make something great :D
Interesting idea, though it would benefit from a way to also regain health/candlelights so it doesn't feel as arbitrary. The mood is pretty spot on!
It's a very fun deduction game. It took a while to get used to, but it's really interesting. The count down theme isn't expressed a lot here, as it ended up just being a counter, still very good though.
0/10 couldn't pet that dawg
We had a lot of fun! The problem solving kept us coming back for more!
I really enjoyed the game, nice art as well very professional. But it would have been nice to have a "last chance" mechanic, where the moment you run out of candles you dont die inmediatly and get a chance to say the name.
The dual typing makes things very confusing. I'd also change the icons in the table to use weak/empowered icons instead of x and v because I got confused multiple times like "is it X because it's bad for me or for them?". I know there's the previous page for that but it'd be more clear for people with skill issues like me. I liked it tho, and good job on the art!
