How does your game fit the theme?
A constant countdown at the top of the screen determines your remaining lifespan. Many game mechanics revolve around maintaining it.

Pretty fun platformer with great audio and mechanics. Reminded me a lot of Minit, in the way of how you keep your upgrades and keys after the time runs out. Just a little sad that it lagged a lot in my computer, for seemlessly no reason. Other than that, a really polished entry!
Glad you enjoyed! Were you able to try the downloadable version to reduce lag? And yes, Minit was one of the game's biggest inspirations.
Not yet, but I gonna try downloading it!
Banger soundtrack. Game felt smooth and insanely polished too. Really good stuff
Thank you!
Music guy here, thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed the soundtrack!
It ended up being waaay to difficult for me to play, but I still had fun, everything from visuals to music and ui seemed very in tune with eachother. GJ!!!
Glad that you had fun! It did end up being pretty difficult, haha.
Music guy here, thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!
very nice! i’m not the best at platformer combat so i liked how your health being the timer meant i could either fight an enemy or just collect enough time to walk right through it lol
Glad you enjoyed! I tried to allow a lot of player agency and decision-making regarding your countdown.
I could barely make a dent, but I enjoyed it a lot! The art is great and I like how death is incorporated with rewinds. Almost makes it feel soulslike.
Thanks for playing!
Wow, this has so much polish, for 4 days this is impressive. I quite like the lore around planned obsolescence and the puzzle/metroidvania aspect takes this to another level; congratulations !
Thanks a bunch!
Great job for this game, enjoyable experience, nice artwork !!
Glad you enjoyed!
Wanderful game! I've enjoyed it a lot!
Every aspect on it fits pretty well, cograts.
If I had to improve anything, I'd add a “coyote time” effect to the jump to make it a little more satisfying for the player, but overall, the controls feel great.
Pretty solid entry. Keep up the good work!!
Yeah, there is a coyote time in the game, but it's so short that it's almost unnoticeable. Thanks for playing!
it was a very cute game, The artstyle is coherent and the animations are smooth, enemy designs somehow fit together despite being an odd mix of little guys with eyes, crabs and tanks. Having very little experience with platformers i found it a difficult game to beat, but in the end it was a fun experience ^^!
Yeah, it can be tricky for a lot of players. Glad you enjoyed the visuals!
Great game! i found it so hard but it didn't take away from the enjoyment, altho those flying things, i feel like if they catch you, you can't hit them while taking constant dmg. but the way the map is contructed is soo good, encourges exploration and trying to figure out which way to go first is a really good part. also is that a TANK ?!
also having to barely get a key and die with it, makes it harder to choose which door to open first 😂 i mean I DIED for that key xD
Thanks for playing! The bats getting stuck inside you is definitely one of the most frustrating elements which I wish I playtested more to discover. Otherwise, I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
This could be a legit miniclip game of old, I'm very impressed. The controls were tight and I loved the graphics. Well done
Thank you for the kind words! I always loved playing games on sites like that, and it does my heart good to think I can replicate that now.
This is one of those rare games in a gamejam where I would genuinely want to play this till the end of the game, and maybe even replay it to optimise routes and stuff (the countdown certainly helps with that, which is a plus).
The visuals look very nice, I like the way the lil guy moves. The music is nice too!
The game itself is pretty fun too! At most I think I would like to see the combat improved a bit (and if it wasn't as laggy, not sure why it was laggy for me), though it doesn't take much away from the overall enjoyment.
Very nice :D
Thanks! I'm glad you wanted to replay it; I hoped to add some interesting routing options and replayability.
Great visuals, great controls, great mechanics, great enemies. I will definitely need to come back to this one because went to the cave and then immediately to the boss (I acquired 2 out of 4 abilities) and destroyed him with one of the abilities. I also liked the variety/exploration using the checkpoints.
Thank you! I'm glad you feel motivated to come back and try for 100%. You don't need all of the upgrades to beat the boss, but I could have made the low% path less obvious in retrospect.
the game is really great, the gameplay is fantastic and really creative. awesome entry!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Extremely polished from the art to the music. That said, I think the game rn is too frustrating to play for me to enjoy a lot though I will say that I typically steer clear of platformers. The inability to attack upwards felts annoying and sometimes the bat enemy would get stuck in me and deal damage without me being able to avoid it. The fact that its not clear at first how to proceed is I think intentional but it just seems a tad frustrating right now. Great work though for just 4 days
Thanks! Some of those things are on my list of issues to address in a post-jam update.
Music guy here, thanks for the comment, much appreciated!
Artistically probably my favorite game of the jam so far, amazing visuals and juice, the game felt amazing and loved the effort in to make it look and feel chaotic and good. the game was a bit challenging but loved the extra pressure !
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed. I take pride in my visuals and juice.
Game is great, but I felt defficult to play it (probably cause I have been playing games from morning). It’s more like a rage game for me, lol. I really like how u worked with particle effects (like graphics poping up and etc). Will re-visit your game after some time :)
Thanks! I really need to get my friends to playtest my next game... I'm just way too good at my own projects, haha. I keep making them hard as heck on accident.
This is genuinely my favorite game of the jam so far. The graphics pop, the designs are fun, gameplay is snappy, and more.
Just a few problems: Most of the tiles in the web version are black, so it's pretty much unplayable. Also, the fact that the final boss doesn't have his own theme ruffles my feathers a bit. Lastly, all the enemy designs are fun cogwork robots, but the final boss is just "generic time guy".
With that being said, please make this into an actual game. I would pay money for that.
What browser were you playing on? That's the first time I've heard that about the web version.
Thanks for playing, though! I hope the downloadable version worked for you.
Just Chrome. ALTHOUGH I should note that my internet is garbage, so that might have had something to do with it
Interesting. I'll keep an eye on any more issues of this nature. Thanks for letting me know!
Nice work! I got really into it! It's punishing to have your time reduced when you make a mistake, but it's super interesting how it rewards precision and mastering the flow of the level with increased exploration range. That dynamic is fascinating and really makes every moment count. And grabbing a key with a second to spare is a great feeling!
Also an impressive level of content and polish for the jam! Well done all around!
Thank you so much!
This is a nice platformer with agood mechanics! I liked it.
Perhaps you could do some stuff like coyote time to make jumps a little bit trickier :)
Thanks! There is a little bit of coyote time, but it's possible that it should have been a longer duration. Thanks for playing!
