Sound effects obtained from Ultimate UI SFX Pack https://jdsherbert.itch.io/ultimate-ui-sfx-pack by JD Sherbert. I used Popup Open and Popup Close for finger open and close and Cancel for when the fingers matches with target

Amazingly creative and simple, great execution too! Very similar control layout to our game, but you have done a far better job at teaching the funky keyboard layout and hand placement - makes me want to go back and add a proper tutorial to our game! Love how pressing the buttons mimics what the corresponding fingers on screen do. Well done, very cool!
Very creative concept. The controls took a while to get used to, but once they clicked, the game was pretty fun and satisfying to play. Nice work!
I saw this played on a stream and I had to play it. This was very enjoyable! The music fit the vibe of the game, the game loop was very unique and fun, the controller bindings with the finger placement felt comfortable and intuitive. Great job!

yes, Its all about muscle memory and calculating what keys to smash together to invert them.
this was a really fun and funny game! I liked the frantic feel to it. my only critique was maybe you should try a version where the hands are flipped over to match the player's hand position on the keyboard? But then again, maybe the added difficulty was intentional? I had a lot of fun with this! :)
yes, the inversion between keys and the sprite was intentional, for both added difficulty but also because the hand sprites are facing toward us while the way we type on keyboard is opposite and face to the bottom.
(As someone said previously, if you flip your keyboard it makes sense)
but yes we should/can add a easier version that works exactly like you said.
The inverted controls make my head hurt, but otherwise this was a fun game. Good luck!

inverted controls were intentional to make the game hard. It really seems unintuitive but one other reason is the sprites is facing toward us, unlike the way our hands face downward while typing.
but after the voting better I will look after it.

really fun concept. I think maybe there could be another mode where you hold to lift up (ofc making it easier) but then you're bombarded and having to do the poses in quick succession. Had a lot of fun with it
my initial plan was holding for opening the fingers which is intuitive but there is limit to how many keys you can hold at the same time, I could not find any combination of letters that will work for all fingers being open. Then only solution is qwer than left alt for left hand and uiop and space bar for right hand. but I am afraid alt + space is mapped to something for most people's system.
Also holding keys and switching to different combinations in quick succession might make the hand fell crampy too.
oh true I didn't think about ghosting. Maybe something like reset with spacebar and then toggle like it is curently? In any case i think the actual game mode is much more chatoic and hard to follow, which is great at picking your brain haha
Got a score of 11. The first 4 or 5 took easily twice as long get. I found it easier to not really look at the bottom half of the screen, only to fix inverted fingers (open vs closed). What a weird and fun thing to experience, thanks!

lmao you flipping the hand was a genius design choice! i really dig your art style and the simplicity of it. also the use of some different controls was really fresh to see. nice execution well polished and immediately understood what i had to do. the only thing that was a much was that music. I think you could tell a story with those counting fingers. in the right context this could be wild! great job !
Simple and fun game! Brain could not comprehend how to properly manipulate my fingers when they were all mixed up like that haha. Got a score of 8
Oh my gosh, what a wonderful but challenging game! I have to really carefully think though what I'm doing. This is such a unique concept though, definitely the coolest in the jam I've seen so far! I love how there's a physical-world element to this one, it's so meta and creative.
My brain and the inverted hands do not play nicely together. Fun rotoscope hand sprites! You've already played our game so I don't mind mentioning it lol, but the hand in ours is MY hand and it is a bit creepy to see it floating around there knowing it's mine. Once you get the hang of the inversion though it's very fun!
It was a very funny experience and had a good concept.
