How does your game fit the theme?
Nearly every object in the game has a countdown: platforms vanish when their timer hits zero, bombs explode, drones drop missiles, bosses change modes, and a level timer keeps you moving..

This was simple and fun, I love games which have more than one movement type and more than one genre and I liked how it gradually became a bullet hell so the boss battle didn't feel out of place. This would be fun as a larger game!
The visuals are super nice - really well executed
WOWEE, coolest game
Super simple and enjoyable game, pixel art was very clean to look at and boss fight was enjoyable. Nice work :)
Cool contextualization of the theme on every game aspect!
With time as a constraint, utilizing every game object into a mechanic transforms the environment in such a way that it reminds the player of the overall theme, which fits very well the narrative.
Fun!
Really cool use of the theme! Loved the visuals and audio to go with it too. I did struggle a bit with some of the controls, particularly the lack of coyote time and other platformer features made timing jumps a bit painful, especially when the game needs you to move quickly all the time. I also got stuck on the ceiling of the boss room several times where the only way I could go down was mashing space. But I was able to beat it after a few tries where that didn't happen. So overall was short but sweet and I love that you were able to apply the count down theme in several different ways.
two word: nostalgia cute
nice 1bit artstyle too
YEAH YEAH YEAH! you got yourself in a place where the countdowns for terrain don't mind much when you can just shoot it out of the way, but it would also be a disservice to the game feel.
But overall I applaud the clever constrain to the theme, the art, the music, everything is on point.
Love the pixel art. The game fit the theme incredibly good.
Very clever take on the theme. Loved the art style as well. Well done!
Great game! It's interesting how everything has it's own lifecycle. I think the Boss could be better refined though, since I shot it down way too fast before I can see anything special. The art and the actual gameplay is well polished! Keep exploring this theme cause I think it can be expanded
Short. Simple. Sweet Good Game!
Well polished! I enjoyed your game. Visual countdown provides me different UX than normal platformers.
Hi there, super cute game with a lot of interesting counting concepts! I really enjoyed the art style. I wish the platform counting down mechanic was more thoroughly explored. Because you could just destroy them with the gun I never needed to wait for them to disappear, it seems like a missed opportunity to develop some interesting levels/puzzles that requires you to time something with them.
charming visual, deceptively simple yet difficult platforming. imagine if each entity with count down can be used to outsmart the level (e.g. exploding drone with bombs). Good work!
My game have similar idea of decaying blocks, check it out!
Cute!
Cute pixel art!
Such a fun interpretation of the theme. Really like taking something known and adding a twist like the timers. Well put together
the main character is so cute! i like the platforming, but the flying/jmp physics get a little weird for me after the jetpack
Very cute, would love to see it expanded on.
