How does your game fit the theme?
Let's be honest, the most terrifying Count Down in human existence isn't a ticking time bomb—it's your 7:00 AM alarm clock. We took the theme literally. You are locked in a frantic, life-or-death struggle against time itself... mostly because your bed is warm, the floor is cold, and your clock is actively out to ruin your life. Every wave you defeat is essentially you violently mashing the snooze button, desperately fighting to reset that cursed timer and claw back exactly 5 more minutes of glorious sleep!

Simple and enjoyable, I thought the theme was very funny. It was a little unintuitive to me that I could loop around but enemies could not. I'm glad that I successfully slept in.
Hahah yeah I had to make that change because then the enemy would be way smarter than normal they may find the shorter distance and make themselves through any situation I had balance that so I remove the ability to screen wrap for enemy. Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it :)
The controls feel smooth and satisfying, and the core concept is such a clever idea. I love how the gameplay connects with the theme through memories and words. A very creative and polished jam entry!

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it :) it's a small experience so I had to try to make sure that some of the elements are satisfying rather then glorifying and increasing the scope of the game.
Your game is so responsive, I almost won in the first attempt (too bad I didn't know that I could spam the shot). I beat it in the second attempt with full HP bar, nice game mate, well done <3

Pretty much agree with people saying a background soundtrack and a little less sound effects would be nice. But the shooting is fun and feels great to play. The "5 more minute snooze" concept is such a strong one, you could definitely lean into that further but works great as is!

A true cinematic experience, and incredibly relatable (because that's just me every morning)
Game is a little *too* simple and the application of the theme is mainly just a "narrative" thing. Wish there were more mechanics revolving around the theme, maybe more concent like more weapons, maybe power ups that countdown and give you cool weapons, that sort of thing. Its a simple and nice little minigame otherwise!
