This was very creative and a great premise. I can definietly see the password game inspiration and immediately wonder what else could you have done. There are some more fun ideas there that you could be inspired
I was stuck very long on level 4 and making me remember level 2 was brutal but I somehow figured it out. I could also use some quick way to duplicate the bubbles. That could be useful for the palindrome puzzles
This game was dreamt up by the criminally insane. I love it. I wish I read the warning that I might want to remember something, I thought I had remembered it accidentally as well only to realize the first level was level 0 haha. Thank you for the new XKCD!
I enjoyed the concept of this game, I thought it was very unique! I enjoyed the freedom to drag the numbers around the area, and I think I enjoyed having to think in 2 dimensions the most. I liked making my own numbers a lot, but I agree with @whythisname that the infinite possibilities are hard to navigate, and don't give you clues when you fail. Maybe another way to address this would be to show the player which scoring criteria they're failing? I spent a good amount of time after failing a level going through the criteria 1 by 1 to find the one I failed. Just an idea!
I enjoyed playing this game! I thought it was well done, intuitive, and easy to pick up. Great work!
I like the idea, but I'm either too stupid to solve the first problem where you make your own tags or it just doesn't work? My answer was (from top->bottom) 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16. They were integer type (I used the left most box, which looks like ints to me). I did try some other solutions before that obviously didn't fit the criteria, so maybe there was some junk nodes left behind from that?
Anyway, I feel the first rounds with predefined labels were more fun! I had to figure out what to do with the labels I had. Ofc that makes it a lot easier, but I feel giving complete freedom to make your own labels might be too much. Like with predefined labels those are clues I'm doing something wrong and there aren't like infinite possibilities to do it wrong. With my own labels I have no clues and it's very hard to then understand if I'm wrong or if the game is not working as intended. Maybe instead of complete freedom to make labels, have like 1 or 2 labels the player can change, together with a bunch of predefined ones. Or have labels with special effects, like maybe some can be wildcards or count as 2 different numbers, etc?
I've never seen something like this before! Very cool concept. I really liked the bubbles changing colour according to its location. Good stuff.

I encountered a bug, it wouldn't accept my answer even though I'm sure it is correct (photo above). My theory is that it must have created another number box and hidden it. You should add a refresh button, maybe it would have at least cleared the bug. So I restarted and took screenshots of each level so that if it happened again I could speed run the entire thing easily. Which was lucky because of a certain level later on. I think I would have just opened the game in another browser instead of replay the entire game if I had forgotten.
The game reminds me of part of my own game, where you can build bots that follow certain game rules. To build the bot you place and stack cards from left to right, and top to bottom if in roughly the same column. Maybe that could be an idea for a level where you have to zig zag like that, just not sure how you would animate a zig zag sequence.
Really good and creative game, and also bit annoying at times (which is part of the charm). I think you could potentially make hundreds of different levels without the truly gimmicky stuff if you wanted to, and even more if you include that.
Great Job! And the animation was great!
Thanks, yes the bug was probably, because there were multiple numbers stacked on top of eachother, but there already sort of is a way to restart the level by right clicking the Items to remove them, this should also remove the ones that are stuck together/sometimes when that happens you can move them a little bit and the top one should move while the bottom one doesn't
Thanks, yeah it is harder on mobile, I also tried it with a touch device if I continue this I might add some more mobile compatibility (Like a switch in the settings, I already sort of know what is causing the issues on mobile, but removing that would cause issues with mouse controls, so I kept it for the jam version)
Thanks for the feedback, I originally intended to add some more birds for each question as a sort of art, but adding art would have been quite hard for this game, as then the screen would have been quite packed with stuff, which I wasn't quite sure if it fit the theme the game was going for I also did add some art in the animation I made. I might add a way to speed up the scan (like by holding down) in the future, but I do actually like the scan being slow, because you can see what it is doing to scan the things.
This is a really smart idea, and it's executed really well given the time constraints! The main thing I would have loved to see is just more of it, to be honest. There's still a ton of ideas I think you could do with these mechanics. (I got stuck on level 4 for far, far longer than I should have.)
This got really hard really fast. This is a very unique way to go about it. Kind of like using Scratch but... better ;-). I haven't come across something like this in the game jam entries I have played so kudos to you for being unique.
Very impressive mechanics for a game jam and fun puzzles!
I would just add an indicator to know which rule you failed to fulfill
(Do look up float point imprecision because it broke float numbers)
"Egg"
Great concept and some really cool and creative puzzles!
Though some felt a bit gimmicky: The platformer one especially and at least to me the memory one. I know there was a hint at the time, but I took it more like "remember the rule" than "remember the puzzle", so I had to pull up another tab to get to level 2 again (not hard, but also not really fun).
But I don't want to come across too negatively here, just wanna give some feedback. Game overall was great and super creative!!!
What do you mean there's a remember exercise man there's been like 10 minutes since that and I forgot about it 😭
The variety of puzzles were great, I really liked those, I'm always down for a difficult challenge. My favorite level was the palindrome one, I was stuck until I remembered that I could use the negative numbers lol, they are a great addition.
This was for sure a twist on the theme and I really enjoyed playing this!
Very cool concept! I agree that something indicating which rules you broke would help make the game a bit easier
My god this escalated quickly! Once the free form text box for words showed I knew I was in for a treat. This was my jam!
