How does your game fit the theme?
The round timer is your health. There is a continuous countdown you can extend by perfect parrying, counterpunching, or doing heavy attacks. The goal is to beat the rival before you run out of time.

Really well done! I do think the difficulty curve is a bit sharp when reaching Tommy the Viper. A little too button mashy for me as well
Oh boooi! I had a blast! PLEASE continue to work on this post jam! I will buy!!
Enjoyment - 5/5
A well polished fast paced fighter game with it's own take on the genre. The punch and evade feels amazing!
Excellent jam fighter. Mechanics and feel win; story is thin.
Love the idea of round timer as health! I liked the button mashing and retro feel!
Good entry!
Cool game, cool visual. If I just spam the mouse and space I eventually win every fight.
Feels amazingly polished, and spamming the punch button was really fun. not much to say about this one since it's a simple game, good job :)
Music - goes really well with the rest
Art - Good, less is more, however maybe it's just me but it'd be nice if the NPC animations were a bit more obvious so I could prepare earlier to block. I was just mashing LMB then RMG. But style wise - you nailed the arcade games feel!
I'm not a fan of mashing buttons so this was a bit tiring for me personally. However, I liked the time steal mechanics.
The UI was very clear, tutorial easy to understand and not bloated with information.
It is definitely on theme with the game jam. It feels like a memorable game.
Good job and good luck!
Thank you so much for playing!
I don't know what's happening but I love it! Feels great with the animations. My only issue is I have no idea when the enemy is about to attack so i just mash dodge and counter.
Very nice feel
The game feel is on point, super snappy and satisfying.
Okay I sank in a lot of minutes into this one. Man, it's really nice!
The main mechanics of time and how you lose it or gain it back, with the awesome sound effects make this really fun to play! The overall composition, great introduction, and mechanics overall just, its really polished and it feels so good to go through.
I don't have more to say, thank you for submitting to the game jam!
I’m not really a fan of mashing over and over. This game felt like it was mostly just spamming buttons… Well, that doesn’t really matter. I’m judging this not by how much I like the mechanics (and failed to really understand them) because seriously the animations and juice and timings and everything are super cool and I bet if I took the time to learn them instead of just mashing my keyboard until the other guy inevitably wins (or I win, for the mountain guy) this game will feel so cool to pull off. That’s actually pretty cool come to think of it, that the game loop encourages you to find a flow rather than doing the boring solution because it won’t actually let you win. That’s how fighting games work a lot of the time. If I had one point of criticism I would add some lead-in to enemy attacks. It felt a little bit difficult to judge when to parry and dodge. A short wind-up animation, maybe? Anyways, I really liked the game! The art was really cool, the animation especially. This is your first game? How??
Woah! This is fun! Would you add 2 Players in future? I really want to play this game with my friend!
A very juicy game!
great visuals and controls! I kinda sucked at timing but it felt really great lol
The Mario Party mashing minigames as a baseline were already an interesting start, but you managed to make not only a visually appealing but also mechanically complex game in just 4 days. It reminded me of fighting games and Punch-Out!!, naturally, but not only does the "time" mechanic add urgency to the pace, it also turns the game into a very cohesive and satisfying experience when you manage to outplay the CPU. Overall, a polished and well-made game that I sank way too much time into.
This game was a great cardio workout. It's really cool how you incorporated timed parries/dodges into a mashing game. The visuals also look great and the audio is nice and punchy.
Very fun game! It's pretty satisfying but still I found it difficult since I can't anticipiate when exactly the opponent will attack for me to time my parry or dodge it sometimes it feels like I'm just mashing buttons (could be skill issue, I'm not very good at fighting games in the first place). Very polished sprite and audio too and a creative take on the countdown mechanic! The effects are also very well-done and the tutorial also teaches all the game mechanics well. Overall a good and cool experience
