I like that you can manipulate the counter in lots of ways so that its not always literally "counting down." The last puzzle was a nice culmination of all the previous mechanics, and solving it felt satisfying!

This game is a very creative way to turn the theme into a platformer, I loved it! And the puzzles are actually hard, but not too hard, I feel like you hit a very nice spot about this!

Congrats!

The idea is really amazing ! Using the count down to access parts of the level and controlling it to move around is really smart. The character controller feels a bit weird but there are not so much platforming sections so it's ok. Really well done.

Very creative way  to use the count down, and i liked a lot the metroivania-esque way of using it differently to process through the game

I felt a bit restricted by the movement, but there's wasn't so much difficult platofrming section so it wasn't so disturbing

Very good job !

A real original way to see the theme. Each unlock is original with good complexity I really liked to play.

The last part was for me the hardest ^^

Congratulations !

What a cool and neat idea! I really love the use of the countdown as part of the environment.

Did it in 284.61s without "the" cheat but with "a" cheat 😂

Very nice puzzles, the end was nicely challenging!

Nice catch, and it’s such an obvious cut, don’t know how I could miss it.

Although you could still speedrun the game in under 3 mins, even without that cut.

Cool

Neat idea ! Level progress was consistent and catching up on mechanics was not too difficult. Good job !

I could recognize Sebastian Lague's controller anywhere, always makes me happy to see :)
This is a great idea, using the countdown as a physical obstacle is really smart and well implemented, my main critique would be that the blue levers look the same despite them doing vastly different things which got me stuck for a while as I assumed they would all pause/unpause time since it was the first I discovered, once I figured it out it was smooth sailing though! I did get tricked by the timer going to 100 and making me lose (although it makes perfect sense in retrospective).

Otherwise it's very clean, great level design and very enjoyable puzzles; good job !

Thanks for the detailed comment. It was planned to add small icons (ie ⏯, -, + and so on) next to each lever to hint at what they do but I didn’t have the time to add it.

I get that 😔

Also I just realized that the title is about 7 segment displays and I'm sad I didn't get it the first time ...

Cool idea even if I was soooo bad, thanks for the cheat mechanism that's a really really cool feature to let us understand the last challenge.

Simple art but does the job, and you can focus on understanding the different panels and what the game wants you to do!

(And I won so I'm happy <3 )

Very creative and cool mechanic to have the timers a part of the world, I enjoyed that a lot. The levels were quite well designed too and weren't too difficult and were fun to figure out. The graphics could obviously be a bit better but it's a game jam so I can't fault you for that. What you have made here is very solid and I rate the idea highly, good job!

Integrating the timer as part of the puzzle is a really cool idea! I assumed all the blue switches were the same at first, and it took me a moment to try the left one after finding the right one first. Maybe some indicator of what the switch does. The "cheat" was a nice touch for a game jam where I just want to play the game and not necessarily be amazing at it. Great work!

It was planned to add small icons (ie ⏯, -, + and so on) next to each switch to hint at what they do but didn’t find the time for it.

Very clever idea! Bien joué!

I need more people playing this game! The idea is brilliant.

I am a platformer guy. And the last game I enjoyed playing so much was Animal Well. This is simple and the character controller for the jumps a little bit more restrictive than it should, but still I enjoyed it VERY much!

Takes some brain to beat it! My "ah ha!" moment when I understood I could "climb up a 3".

I invite you to play mine as well. Is on browser, and is a short narrative with some light action "puzzles" in-between.

Love the main idea of having digits used as platforms. Well executed too: you can stay on digits while they change without any clipping, and the mechanic keeps being explored as you navigate the rooms. The right level of challenge for a puzzle game made in a jam, spent around 30min to complete it, mainly thanks to the last puzzle. Very clean, loved it!!

Very clever concept ! I wish I'd had the idea!
