Nertsal and Ves have cooked really well with this one. Clever game design of the Collision Risk, this way there is a pull and push mechanic where it isn't just number goes up, but also having setbacks of the collision of the rockets.
Also, love the peaceful music and fitting sound effects which contradicts the epic narrative of shooting rockets in orbit. I like it. My request for improvement would be the OS window that looks primarily gray. It could get something more exciting, (e.g. glass background so you can see the globe still, or a hologram)
Well done, had a great time playing on stream!
This is definitely one my favorite entries in this jam, visually stunning, pleasing to the ears and insanely addictive.
My only problem with it is, I am struggling to see how it is connected to the theme of the jam.
Regardless of that, this is an exceptional game, would love to see a full incremental in this style.
Fellow planet-themed clicker game!! I really, really enjoyed this one, much more than I expected. Such a simple game on the surface, but the execution is really done so well. I love the visuals of this, the sort of 90s windows aesthetic and the crt shader, and the 2d+3d look for the planet, just really cool, plus the music and sound effects just tie everything together. I got embarrassingly far and had debris wipe out all my satellites multiple times (because clicking each one was pretty tricky once the chain reaction started) before realizing I could unlock rockets to clean up the atmosphere, so that was something, but the gameplay went a lot smoother after that lol. Really enjoyed how it was more than just a typical clicker game - had to balance the number of satellites to manage collisions while still getting as much science as possible. I can see a lot of opportunities to expand this game to have more strategy elements which I think would be really cool, and would definitely come back to this in the future. Super clean, and an impressive level of polish for the time limit. Great work!!
Thanks! I’m glad that the Kessler syndrome managed to wipe at least someone out, I hope it wasn’t too irritating to deal with though :D I will be sure to check out your game later!
Neat little incremental game, lovely presentation and audio. I loved how cute this game was. I would totally play more of this if there was more content <3
Really neat clicker game - playing this on stream was fun, and managing and preventing satellite collisions is a great mechanic!
Amazing style!
Really fun idea, and honestly pretty polished looking! Would love to see this expanded as a full game! c: great work guys!
Very cool idea and nice art! You should try to develop this further after the event, when you have more time :D
I love games like this! This is very well done in all aspects and I could definitely see this going further if you choose. Great job!
I would love to see you expand on the orbital debris management! To me, that is what makes the game stand out. Although, it is fun to reach the end of the tech tree and then just spam satellites!
Thanks! Yea i had more ideas for managing stuff in orbit, but had to simplify it a lot to make it fun for the jam! If we decide to continue development, will definitely add a lot more strategy and management to the gameplay :D
The game is really addictive, and so pretty ! I only wished there would be a final upgrade that would cause an end game. I guess that's proof that the game is good :D
good entry!!
It reminds me of a nuclear reactor/bomb, had a lot of fun trying to reach a ciritcal mass of debrisi after getting all the upgrades. Earth model looks super good
Relaxing game, cool! I love the earth model and the overall art style.
The upgrade tree animation is so well designed.
For sure the game has potential, keep going!
Congratulations on your submission!
Wow, I really enjoyed this game! Got all the upgrades. The earth visual, the satellites, rocket launching with the slight crt - absolutely nailed the feel and art. Love the game feel and that upgrades can be felt and work well. At the end of the game it really makes me want more. Absolutely lovely entry!!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
I expected a simple idle game, but it turned out to be much more engaging. There's more maintenance involved than usual, due to things breaking over time, and having to clean the orbit from debris. And it's quite fun, although there could some more visual feedback after marking an object for deorbiting. I played for a bit and got all the upgrades. It's still running in the background and I really like how it sounds ☺️The analysis could include the numbers of different satellite types.
Thanks! I am really glad that the management aspect worked well! I did want to include the specific satellite type counts in the UI but completely forgot about it on the last day :D
cool turn on the basics click games!
Really well made game, the research upgrades were a really cool idea and the graphical style was nice as well. The only improvements I would suggest would just be adding more gameplay variety (such as different upgrades for things like how many clicks it takes to get more currency) and simply just adding more content, but overall really well polished!
Thank you! If that’s the only complaint you have I will gladly take that :D We had more plans of course but decided to focus on polish instead!
The earth visual in the middle is very pretty to watch. Do wish I didnt have to cover it up to see the upgrades. And any incremental game is a win in my book. Very fun.
Quite short, but I absolutely adore the visuals and atmosphere (pun intended). Awesome job!
