I totally loved the idea and creativity in it, If it has some story it would have been wonderful. The reload mechanism was nice but a bit laggy for me. After all, GREAT JOB!

Cool game, cool concept.

I don't like the extreme delay drag on the bullets and think the revolver could have a larger hitbox for placing bullets, but the countdown aspect of bullets and reload is a really cool duel concept that is executed great.

The game is a psuedo-puzzle, determine best route of zombies to hit
Some UX can be implemented, ie, on the revolver indicating the order the bullets will be fired, current loaded shot
I accidently shot a 10 damage bullet into ammo lol.. Was not happy

Love the game, will be playing again after jam

I like the idea a lot, even though it's not a game for me. I'm really bad at manual dexterity stuff, so I found the reloading to be more frustrating than fun, but I understand it's a me issue, and not a design issue. I feel like allowing the player to see what bullet is going to be shot next would make the game more fun, but I understand why it's hidden. The game loop is easy to understand, the art is good and so are the sfx. Very nice job for a short jam!

Nice one! Actually having to reaload by manually dragging the bullets adds so much tension to the experience!

Keep up the good work!

Nice game, interesting reload system. Displayed slightly cut off in the top on my screen, but nothing blocking. I well done!

Stressful in the best way possible, really makes me have to lock in during the reloads, very fun especially when u feel that tension when you start to get surrounded

As promised here's the review:

I really like the concept of reloading, and managing bullets and time. this said, I have a few suggestions: I would make the bullets more responsive to the mouse movement when reloading, because with too much smoothing it can feel like it's less precise and sometimes misses the bullet slot.

The gameplay is good, tho for me it was a bit difficult. overall a very solid entry, good job and good luck :)

Great Game!

Cool idea, unique mechanics. Game gets out of hand pretty fast if you mess up but easy to restart.

Pretty good, I love the animations, and the way you reload.

the audio does a good job of makes us feel thetime pressure and  makes me lock tf in

I loved shooting the zombies!! Maybe making the reload a bit better would make the game even better!
Well done!

Ahhhh having to reload in such a short time (and the timer ticking in our ears) is so stressful! Haha love it, makes it tense and forces to aim the bullet in their slots correctly.

Good job!

Thank you for playing.

So we manage to achieve what we wanted with the reload mechanic <3

The reload mechanic is a very good idea! IMO the movement to load the bullets is too slow and it wasalready stressfull enough to load bullets in time when zombies were coming. But overall is a very nice game

Developer

Thank you for playing.

Yea I did not put enough force on the bullets to make them move more smoothly.

interesting twist, great job in execution! i'm not sure smoothing the mouse for reload is in your best interest if this is time based. it was more frustrating than rewarding. cool concept!!

Developer

Thank you for playing.

Yup, reloading mechanic needs some adjustments and maybe drag wasn't the perfect here. Next time it will be better :D

in my experience it was very hard to play but im not sure if i just suck at shooters. my main isssue was that i sometimes would randomly die when zombies were nowhere near me. also, reloading is quite annoying since you have to drag them into place, and they also have physics which makes it harder since they sometimes fly away when you try to put them in. they should just let you click them to put it in the first available area (the first empty one in order of shooting). about everything else, the art, audio, and narrative are good, and the game itself has pretty unique ideas. only thing i can complain about is enjoyment, mostly the reloading process.

and someone already mentioned it but the numbers on crates are misleading at first. shot all of my bullets at a crate cause i thought i needed to hit it 7 times to get bullets.

Developer

Thank you for playing!

I totally agree that reloading mechanic is not in the best state :D Probably I overcomplicated it but I hope you had fun playing it <3
