our computer struggled with this one a bit. Seemed like a good premise but we couldnt really get it going. LOVED the audio though. Very serene. Made us want to reopen the game. :)

Unfortunately I couldn’t get through the main menu, the buttons were not interactible :’(
Very cool! Tho I noticed if you interact with the first page in just the right way (I don't know if moving while snapping to a stair or maybe when a cracked one reappears) you kinda lose gravity and can fly around to the top. But yeah, aside from that, really liked the osha notes! Fun way to tell the story
I loved the atmosphere, the notes on the wall that you discover on the way up. You're being fed information little by little and it's not overwhelming.
The head bobbing yeah it's very distracting but you already got this feedback from others. It was definitely a memorable game, and I will follow you to see if you update the game in the future!
Good luck!
I must say the game's audio was very nice! Also, I really like the narrative you built as well! I couldn't get very far in the game, and the stairs were a bit glitchy, but overlooking that, it was a great game with a great environment and you did such a great job in building an atmosphere and immersing the players inside of it! (Also as someone with fear of heights I couldn't dare look down!) Great game :D
I love the atmosphere of this! I think I might just be biased towards towers lol. I love the idea of playing as a safety inspector as well, there's lots of ways you can take this post jam. Like a few others have said, the bobbing did trigger a little bit of motion sickness for me but you could remedy this easily by either switching the stair colliders for a smooth ramp, OR you could separate the camera system from the actual player to do smoothing.
Great work, I hope you continue to develop this!!
I really wanted to play more of this game. After I read the second note and realized what kind of game this is I was very excited. But I get really intense stuttering going up the stairs and just couldn't keep playing, not sure if it's just me or what. I will keep my eye on this game though if you are ever able to get it fixed after the jam cause I could tell this game is up my alley
Nice challenging metroidbrainia! I found out while playing that dashing allows the user to go through solid matter and into the great beyond aka out of bounds, which added even more of a challenge as I had to make sure that I wasn't to close to the wall I wanted to dash towards so I wouldn't go through it. You might want to fix this bug after the jam though as even though I found it fun, others might not think the same way. And I don't know if this is just the case on my screen, but the final time overlaps with the 'Congratulations!' text.
This was an interesting game, though I couldn't get very far due to getting motion sickness from the stair head bob, which is what I want to focus on, I think you should have found a way to reduce or remove the head bob when going up the stairs, as the game is *about* climbing these stairs and having your screen shake every 0.5 makes it very hard to play
Sadly gets stuck on the start button and I get a popup from Firefox saying this tab is slowing down the browser and I should close it
