I enjoyed the visuals. It felt like it was hard to push the button because I think the button has it's own collision box which seems to big to me. Sometimes it seemed like nothing would spawn in and I would have to restart my run. There was a lot I liked about this game too, such as the visuals and the fun upgrades.

Cool concept and fun game but there were a few problems, one of them was the shops upgrades having brutal side effects and I also encountered a glitch were I would lose a quarter of my health for seemingly no reason, I like the darkness mechanic were you have to shoot to see the enemies but I just found myself spamming left click. I think adding a reload system will make you think before using your bullets and counteract that strategy. Overall I feel like this game has huge potential if it's issues were fixed.
I like the game's concept, the light that appears when you shoot helped a lot.
But I encountered some issues (I played in the browser):
- The start and quit buttons in the menu only appeared when I entered full screen
- There was a point in the game when enemies didn't appear anymore, and I still haven't met the boss at that point.
The idea of the room lighting up every time you fire is one I really, really like, but there's unfortunately have a few issues that bring it down for me.
I think my biggest one is the shop--most of the items are not particularly enticing, with its side effects vastly outweighing the positives. Of my two runs that made it to Medic, I had one with two Health Packs and one Swift Moves, and another with a Health Pack, Stronger Lights and Sourcherry. Point is that health is king and you're kinda just screwed without another way to heal if you don't want one, or if you buy all 3 items from the shop, which is rough going when you occasionally lose like half your health in a fraction of a second. (Strikes me as a bug? When I try to recreate it, I lose like... less than 1 a second.) My only other big one is that I'm not completely sure Medic is possible? Maybe I'm missing something, but on one attempt he spawned something like 30 enemies before hitting me with the (really!) fast crosses and I just could not dodge a single one of them.
I think you have a great core idea of a blackout roguelike that can be developed into something much larger, and I'd encourage you to rock on with it! But in this execution, it's difficult for me to vibe with it enough to complete it. I will definitely keep tabs on where you go from here, though!
Firsly, thanks for playing my game! I knew that something was wrong about items (i am bad at balancing sorry). The Medic's attacks were selected randomly, and he was spawning a lot in his second attack. And when you got his same attack one by one, yeah it is hard to beat (i was going to change but i forgot). I never worked on enemy attack things, it looked scarry to me and i though i can't do that, so when an enemy is close enough to you, it starts to give like 0,0001 dmg per frame or something like that. They were spawning in top, down, left and right (that is why i always standing in middle). The "crosses" was a bit fast, yeah, i will change it. Thanks again for playing my game and thanks for supporting me, i will remake my all gamejam games in one day!
I hit a critical bug that wouldn't get me past the black screen :O
Pretty cool game. There was only one issue where I seemed to lose 25 health every time I entered the shop? The way the darkness is implemented is really cool. I like how the area gets bright as you fire your gun. Good job!
