Really good puzle game, enjoy the difficult level between sizes, create idea to play with stars and colors, love so much the idea.

Really enjoyed this puzzle game! First it took me some time to really understand how to solve it. Only thing that i found lacking is it's connection with the theme but still its a good puzzle game i must say. This could easily become a casual puzzle game for mobile. Good work! :)

The puzzle is really good! I had a lot of fun solving it, but I didn’t really see the connection with the theme. That said, the game is amazing! Great work!

Pretty fun little puzzle game! āšŸŽØ

I really liked the color-blending concept and the satisfying feeling of rotating everything until the colors finally line up. The music and small sound effects also make the puzzles feel nice to play. ✨

My only thing is that the star theme feels a little forced it feels more like a color puzzle that was placed into a night-sky setting rather than a game built around stargazing. 🌌 Maybe adding some constellation progression or making the star alignment more meaningful could connect it much stronger.

Still, good concept and nicely executed for a jam! šŸ‘

And if you have some time, please try my game too and leave me a review! I’d really appreciate it. ā¤ļø

Congratulations on the jam submission! šŸŽ‰

We LOVED this game! The concept is so creative and the puzzles were fun. This is PERFECT for people that enjoy art and color theory in general. It is very satisfying. If you wish to continue working on this game, you should release it on mobile 100%.

Developer

Thank you! The game is already made for mobile.

A nice puzzle game, quite challenging. Not bad! Good work! :)

Ok, so from the top :)

Gameplay. I played a couple of rounds. The idea is solid- with some additional stuff (powerups, score streaks, something like that) I could see this as a nice "bus game". The rounds are short enough that you'd easily fit a couple in your daily commute :) What I didn't like was the rating system. The idea is good, but right now it doesn't forgive any mistakes. Two stars is the best I could do :)

Creativity. I guess I haven't played a puzzle game with this idea. Points for that :)

Graphics. The graphics were readable, but simple. I'd like a bit more feedback here. A couple of times I clicked a star and then a different one rotated. It would be cool if the "active" star would light up, or otherwise signal it was active.

Audio. Genuinely good! The music was nice, but it's the subtle sound effects on every click that really do the work here.

Theme. I guess I can see how it relates, but also I wouldn't thing "stargazing" if I didn't know it was the theme.

Over all. Solid submission for puzzle game fans. Could use a bit of polish.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the detailed feedback.

I played a couple of rounds… Two stars is the best I could do

I wouldn’t do better myself.

It would be cool if the ā€œactiveā€ star would light up

How do you define ā€œactiveā€?

I wouldn’t thing ā€œstargazingā€ if I didn’t know it was the theme.

I don’t think that’s the right criteria for this category, but alas, that’s how most people vote.

In this context "active" = the one that's gonna move when I click :) This is not a game breaking issue, but I had situations where I clicked expecting one star to move and instead another moved. In my game (forgive my shameless self-promotion), when I move a picture over the stars some light up- that way you know that those will be counted as a constellation :)

Developer (1 edit)

ā€œActiveā€ is something you select first and then act upon. Here, there is no selecting first. How do I know which star you are going to click? It’s like asking the keyboard to highlight the key you’re going to press when typing.

Unless you are suggesting to separate selection and rotation — but that, I’m afraid, would be awkward and impact playability even more.

Very fun! I also thought the music gave it a nice mood as well

Pretty fun puzzle. Not amazingly attached to theme to be honest, but pretty fun and well executed. Good job!

It’s a good puzzle! I think adding a tutorial would make the mechanics easier to understand and help players get into the game more quickly.
