Excellent for a first game! It's simple, but it has some basic fundamentals present. If you had fun, keep pushing yourself!

Great first game! I like the controls and the simple gameplay, you did a nice job :D👍

For a first game, this is quite great. I remember the experience of creating my first few games. Those games were so trash. So, don't worry about it not being a masterpiece. Just keep improving and you'll make great games in the future.

Man, don't go so hursh about yourself, it's a great game. If you see what I saw in the unfinished a lot of games (outside this event) you wouldn't say your game looks "terrible" and you did an exxelent choice in the bird's eye view. Making a cowboy or an entire horse sprite can be difficult. Keep up your attidute high and listen the feedbacks. Someday you are not gonna believe what you can do

wow thanks, the feedback means a lot!

Nice work for your first game!  I think it's great that you did your own art too. And a really nice take on the theme as well! Hope you'll make more games in the future.

thank you so much! i definitely will

Theme interpretation was clever and the idea is charming! I wouldn't have minded if there were obstacles for more of a challenge. Good work!

Developer

thank you!!! and i appreciate the feedback

Good first game, I really apreciate that you did the graphics yourself, keep up the good work. By the way, here is my game if you want to try it and rate it, I would thank it. https://gezdal.itch.io/terminal-speed

thank you! I'm busy right now, but I'll be sure to play your game when time permits.

Solid first (jam) game! Love the idea of the hat as the player character from the top-down view. If you'd like to expand on the game after the jam you could think of some puzzle mechanics for the (later) levels, such as maybe collecting a key to open a door to get to the horse. :)

Developer

thanks! theses ideas are really good, if i ever work on the game again ill be sure to take it into consideration!

Good start on your game! I hope you can expand more on this after the jam. Keep it up.

Love if you could rate my game too.

Very good first project! Congratulations on completing it—it's something you should be proud of. Keep it up, my friend, keep moving forward and learning more and more with each project. I wish you success in everything you do!

You could continue developing the project by adding something like the ability to jump over certain fences while riding the horse. I think that could make the gameplay even more interesting.

Developer

Wow thanks for all your kind word! It really means a lot.

Also, I really like the fence idea, so if i continue building on this game I'll be sure to implement it. c:

Nice job on your first game! Would've loved to see more mechanics be implemented over the course of the game to make it more interesting, and maybe some narrative elements as well!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, and yes I  agree the game is way less fun than it could have been because of the lack of nuance.
