How does the game fit the theme?
Furniture assembly but you develop trust issues with the manual.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Used IKEA-manual dataset (Wang et al. https://arxiv.org/abs/2302.01881 ), Pixabay for sounds, Google fonts (Noto Sans).
All code and hand-drawn art made from scratch during jam.

Great idea, very unique! Very satisfying when a piece clicks into place.
Two gripes:
The music is fitting, but too repetitive.
Orthographic projection makes it hard to see how the pieces are arranged. (Especially until I realized you could rotate the camera, but that's on me.)
It reminded me of my worst furniture-assembly sessions, haha :D Well done! It feels just right; the UI is consistent and effective.
This is a fun idea that's well-executed, and I was enjoying myself while constructing all the furniture. It's strangely relaxing, for some reason. The minimalist aesthetic is nice as well. Great game, blows my mind what people are able to put together in a week by themselves.
Something about the camera is so satisfying to pan idk why. The blueprint vibe looks so good too. Only thing I wish for was a higher involvement of the theme. The manual being misguiding was cool for the first level, but moving forward I never bothered to look at it again. This was a fun, chill game with infectiously groovy background music!
Authentic ikea experience
Very fun game, my living room does look sick :)
That's sick, congrats ;) thanks for playing to the end!
The building process is super relaxing and fun. I spent quite a while to figure out I need to use the drill instead of line up things perfectly though. And I didn't realise there is a manual untill I'm kind of stuck on level 5. Good news, I'm not misleading by the instructions, I didn't realize it exists! XD
Hahaha that's amazing, so pro you don't need the manual. Thanks for playing!
Hahaha not a pro, just like to try out things without instructions. A bad old habbit of mine. But it do give me extra fun testing things out, so that old habbit die hard. And I think you did very well making people know the machanics intuitively without have to read the manual. And as for the drill, you'll notice it eventually when you need one. That's really awesome!
Love the aesthetic! I think the controls need a bit more guides or animation to help tell the depth, wasn’t sure if I was wrong or if the alingment detection wasn’t working at many points. I like the music and the sound effects! Nice chill ambience. Overall lovely game!
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! You're right the camera angle/invisible depth axis was tricky and I wasn't really sure how to fully solve it. I'd hoped giving enough allowance for piece snapping would help alleviate it, but I'll think about it some more :D
Awesome game! Played for ages, it took 10 minutes to get my first thing to drill on and another 10 minutes to realise I don't have to line up everything perfectly from all angles lol.
Oh no haha, thank you very much for persevering and playing! Let me think of a way I could make this more obvious
a manual you cant trust is such a good use of the theme, and the blueprint look is lovely. the drill snapping onto parts feels great too
Thank you!!
Very chill and cozy. Would recommend
This game is cool and the music is relaxing. At first I didn't know there was an instruction and a screwdriver, so I tried to build the thing my own. When I couldn't figure it out, I saw the instruction only to find out it didn't make sense either. First level took me so long lol, but overall a very chill and solid game!
Thank you!! Oops, sounds like I should make the controls more clear heh
I like this game !
Such a creative game! I feel like this would be perfect to play while traveling, like on a train or a plane. I actually really enjoy doing crafts, so I had a lot of fun with this!
I kept rotating the pieces and flipping them around, trying to find the right angle. At first, I didn’t look at the instructions and managed to put one piece together on my own. Then I found it diffrenet from the instruction so I restart. BUT! ONLY TO FIND OUT THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE LYING TO ME!
Thank you! Haha yes it would be a good transit game, though I guess I'd have to translate the rotation to be mobile friendly heh
IKEA gameplay!!!
Hahahaha great execution of the theme! Very well done! I am not good at building :D In real life too. I always mess it up.
