Straight to the point take on the theme. I liked the color palette and the artstyle overall. Gave me a No I'm Not human vibes. (edit): I would like a button to accelerate or skip to the complete dialogs, anyways keep it up!
Thank you so much for playing and feedback.Treating the dialogue and clues as a careful test of wits keeps the mystery alive, and we upgrade to better version sooner!
Great Game Gave Me FNAF Vibes! Cool Visuals, SFX And Music. Loved The Art Style And Character Designs. I Thought there was a little too much dialogue however.
Thank you so much! We are glad you enjoyed the FNAF vibes and art, and we would note the suggestions and make to better upgrade version sooner!
A fun, entertaining game that stays true to the theme. Great job!
Thanks for your review
One of the best games i played here
Thanks so much for playing our game!!
i like the visuals and audio, especially the green-tinted atmosphere and distorted background music that forebodes that there is an apocalypse around. keeping a look out for people who u let in follows the theme. however, the dialogue is quite slow and i suggest that if u mouse click while theyre still talking it reveals all the text, and there should be an option to skip the intro phone call. also i dont know if this is intentional but u are not able to read the newspaper after opening it in a day (my memory is buns so i would recommend having the ability to opening it more than once in a day).
Thanks for your play and feedback. On newspaper, that is a design strategy —forcing players to rely purely on their memory from a single read makes the choices and survival stakes way more intense! We'll definitely keep that core challenge in mind while looking into ways to make the rest of the flow smoother.
I love how even when you lose you don't learn who the killer was, making the player rethink their actions and making the next run less predictable. the story and atmosphere are also excellent and fit the theme very well.
Thank you for your play and feedback! Hiding the killer's identity after a loss keeps every new run exciting and full of suspense, and we're glad you loved the atmosphere.
This game is very good and has amazing visuals and story. Fits the theme better than any other game I played so far. The only thing I didn't like is that I couldn't skip the intro dialogue and had to sit through it every time I died. I also couldn't piece together why I got killed a couple of times but maybe I really wasn't paying enough attention.
I also think the dialogue animation should be skippable and some dialogues hide themsleves regardless of whether you managed to read them and then get locked.
Thank you for your play and feedback! We valued your suggestions and will upgrade the game to better version sooner!
Really cool atmosphere. Liked the game a lot! Maybe this is just me but I did not realize the paper on the table was the newspaper lol. It would be more obvious if there was the word "News" written on it or something, but again could be just me being dumb. Good game overall!
Thanks for your review
This is a great atmosphere super awesome. Wish there was a way to skip dialogue, though.
Thanks for playing our game, the feedback is noted and I assure the future version after the jam will have the skip button. :D
Of course! If you get any time would love feedback on my game!
Definetively testing it!!
Thanks for your review
Thanks to everyone that has played the game, gaved us feedback. You guys help us become better game developers :D
(Also I would love to hear wich is your favourite character from the game) mine's morty!
Thanks!!!! :D
very good game! liked the concept a lot
Thanks a lot for playing our game :D
Very good looking game altough kinda confusing. Vibe is great tough and gameplay pleasant, would be nice to be able to fast forward dialogues :) GG
Thanks a lot for playing our game and the feedback, if you could explain what made it confusing for you it would be very usefull for our team for a future version of the game and also for us to keep growing as developers. :D
So exwpt newspapee there is no exact instructions how to identify good or bad people. This aproach could work however when dying game tells you nothing so you dont really learn, thats why I found it confusing. Goodluck on your journey!
Hey, as has been said earlier: graphics are super-great (your dithering is really cool ! and your parallax makes the game more alive), I like the music loop too, the UI is great. It's simple but it works perfectly with the atmosphere.
For the gameplay I definitely get the Papers Please vibe but like Toxinchen, I would have enjoyed some feedback on the choices I make and why I die so I can get better in the game without having to make guesses about the rules/what I missed. And getting insulted when you die without understanding why you die is very frustrating ><
Being able to accelerate/pass dialogues would be nice too since we have to re-try things when we die.
Thanks a lot for the feedback, i'm sorry about your experience, we'll take note of them for a future better version.
great game really liked the artstyle and how it complemented the vibes the music and audio was great too
Thanks a lot for playing our game :D
Awesome Papers, Please vibes! The green-tinted aesthetic and main menu concept look fantastic, fitting the apocalyptic atmosphere perfectly. Super impressive that all art, code, and audio were made from scratch by the team.
Thanks for your review.
Thanks for playing our game!
the washed out green palette and those portrait sprites are seriously strong, best looking thing ive played today. gatekeeping a radio tower against a quota is a heavy hook and the opening dialogue sets it up well
Thanks a lot for playing our game!
I reeeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllllyyyyyy like main menu concept
Thanks a lot and thanks for playing our game!
Cool aesthetic with the green tint and art, reminds me of Papers Please. Some text, like the phone, could benefit from a text skip ability. Another thing is that I was shot for some reason and it would have been nice to know why. Nice game nonetheless.
Thanks a lot for playing our game, i'll writte down your suggestions
Thanks for playing! Let's just say a monster stayed hidden a bit too long, or the power grid got dangerously out of hand... Keep a closer eye on your rooms and energy levels next time, and maybe you'll make it out alive!
Love the color scheme! It'd be perfect if the text speed could be increased.
Thanks for playing our game, i'll write that down
Fantastic game! I lloved the color palette
Thanks
