How does the game fit the theme?
You play as a soldier evacuating survivors from a facility overrun by zombies, but there is shapeshifters among the survivors. You will need to scan each survivors to ensure no shapeshifters slip past you.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Most of the art assets, UI, sounds was not make from scratch, but I still modified the art to fit my game better.

Love the high-stakes mechanic of scanning survivors before deciding whether to trust or shoot. Combining deduction vibes with top-down action works surprisingly well, and the shooting feels super crisp. Really clever take on the theme, great job!

This is a game all about choices, and each choice really does matter. The art is really cool! Great job!

Okay, this is definitely one of those game ideas I’d like to come back to and play again. Great job!
I’m not sure if the scanning was working properly for me at times 😅

Love the idea of choosing between scanning people and trusting them! I think it would be cool to have a safe zone for survivors right there in the level. You’d have to choose between taking the time to scan someone or just hoping for the best. Any infected survivors who slipped through would reveal themselves once they reached the others. So you have to go back and make some deals with it instead of rescuing others or just defending yourself.
The level could end when the player wraps up the evacuation as far as the player reaches the minimal threshold. Good job!

Thanks for the feedback! I was trying to merge games like "That is not my Neighbor" in a top-down shooter, which require me to think about the scanning moments and the shooting moments.  Your idea gave me thoughts on improving the game design! Thank you :D

Somehow it took me three retries to understand that i could move... I knew it was too hard. (It was still too hard for me even with movement, i'm overwhelmed easily I guess) Clean stuff nonetheless, good job
