I think the biggest criticism for me is that the map is definitely too big for exploring in the game, when much smaller one would have worked and probably made it a more cohesive vibe. I didn't find it weird that some of the characters had voiced dialogue, while others didn't (Maid even had dialogue that did speak her lines, so when Libby was speaking random sentences that didn't fit the written dialogue, it felt a bit weird). However despite it, I did enjoy that the characters were actually drawn for the game, a murder mystery is a very interesting thing to develop and especially a perfect fit for the game. Congratulations of making it, I enjoyed my time with it!
Pretty cool game! Its definitely very ambitious with a ton of items and also a lot of narrative, though I do feel like there's some parts that definitely needs a lot of polish. The artstyle is really unique and I love the mix of 2D and 3D, though I'm not a big fan of the wallpaper it feels a bit too rustic, but other than that, its awesome. The gameplay does need a bit of work though, I "kinda" found out who it is and (SPOILERS) I find the ending a bit confusing. I played the game a couple of times to get an idea on what would happen if I do x or if I do y and it seemed to be a bit disconnected in narrative. Some of the dialogues I can tell got put a lot of time into it but some didn't which is totally understandable for a game jam. Also, I softlocked myself accidently a couple of times through the items. I do feel like the item could just be something that the player hold in the inventory or something like that instead of something tangible, but again, completely understandable in a game jam setting. The audio is pretty fun and the eerie music is fitting! The voice acting for some of them are also really awesome! Overall, this was an interesting game with sooo much potential, I would've loved for you guys to polish it up even more post jam! Great work team!!
Oooooh, good job! Really like it. Hopefully you can do your own sounds and textures, and framework, next time too!

Love the art styling! As others have pointed out, it’s a really cool mix of 2D and 3D. I cracked up when I first discovered the alien, and the voice acting was well done!
Definitely an ambitious game. The style of blending 2d characters with 3d environment reminds me of Danganronpa, fitting since a murder is involved. It is rough around the edges, especially with how items work and the UI, but I can see this being expanded upon into it's own game. Love the art for the characters. You guy's have the talent and potential to make something worthwhile here.
i know how it feels to leave project unfinished but i need to say this is some amazing work and you should not worry about it gang. managing to have VOICE ACTING, 3D, 2D, DIALOGUE SYSTEM, ITEM SYSTEM AND PLOT IS VERY MUCH ABOVE ENOUGH, i have no clue how you pulled this of in team of 3 but congrats to you all. as everyone i will point out that billboarding is a grate idea to put in such game, combination of two styles (2D and 3D) is what i love to see, enjoyed my time playing very much!
My character feels so tiny compared to the Butler. Really beautiful art style. I also like the way you handled the characters. Are they actually 2D sprites that rotate to face us? Nice.

Oh, thanks. I’ll look for the equivalent in Godot
Thanks everyone for trying our game. Unfortunately we didn't have time to polish up so it is very rough. Regarding items, only one can be carries at once, dropping them doesn't disable their collision causing the player to get stuck. A workaround is picking it up again and dropping it elsewhere.
These items are mainly used at the entrance area for additional dialogue to determine the end screen results.
Always love a mix of 2d and 3d! There's a couple areas where I would love to see the devs have more time to cook! Not sure if it's intended, but I "drank(?)" the poison and wasn't able to move... multiple times. Enjoyed it!
Very pretty character art! And what nice spooky soundtrack. Enjoyed the mystery :)
the characters look very stylized and beautiful , I liked the occasional voice acting they were very cute ! I just think maybe the dialogue system could be a little more polished and engaging , other than that , a great entry for the "trust no one" themed game jam ! keep up the good work !

The voice acting was such a unique feature and touch! I would love hear more of but there got had lots of even for 7 days. I might be a bit biased from our game but I loved the 2D and 3D mix as well. The 2D characters really popped in the environment.
I also ran into the bug where picking up items and placing them down would sometime soft lock you since the were on top of the player. But I was able go around by picking up all the items once and placing them down right away since they would be saved in the list. But other then that it was enjoy able experience.
Great job!
I had to download the game cus the web export is buggy, but either way what a nicely made game, I love the art and the characters mostly, solid submission!
I really liked the character designs and the 2.5D but unfortunately I can't manage to play the game as picking up a second item or trying to put down the one I had rendered me incapable of moving around (playing in web export). Attempted to relaunch the game 4-5 times with the same result.
I also got trapped in an infinite dialogue loop trying to talk to the police.
I like the character art. Great submission!
MASSIVE points for style, best vibe of the games ive played so far

I love the character designs! The art style is great, and I like that you went for a murder mystery to go with the theme! Super cool you have voice acting! For the gameplay, I did get a little disengaged just clicking through dialogue... but it could just be my short attention span haha. Unfortunately I did end up getting soft locked when talking to the butler after the first murder and he kept asking who did it :(
Really loved the art style for this 2.5D game. The movement could use some easing, but other than that great work overall!
I have a soft spot for 2.5D games, so this immediately caught my attention :) I really like how the 2D characters sit inside the 3D environment — it feels natural rather than like two separate styles being layered together. The character designs are really charming too, and the voice acting gives them a lot of personality.
The only real issue I ran into was with some objects getting stuck and blocking my movement, which forced me to restart a couple of times. But overall, I really liked how you pulled this style off.
